Atlas vs Pachuca Prediction

Guillermo Almada and his men have the toughest job of the season tonight. Down 2 goals against Atlas. But what they do have is their fans with them today. Pachuca has not tasted defeat at home since September 21 of last year. Since then, they have won or drew their last 16 games at home.

They should feel very comfortable at home as in their past 3 home games alone they have scored 3 in each. While the Atlas defense has given Atlas a lot of success over the past season and prior, It was surprising to see Tigres with their back against the ropes almost complete a comeback from down 3 goals. Tigres led 4-1 until Atlas was awarded a penalty in the 100th minute to secure a spot in the final. And with that said, Atlas should be focused more on defense tonight and rely on their speed to get a counter-attack. For the first leg, I was all over Atlas and have to admit that Pachuca deserved at minimum one goal. Pachuca should not have any trouble producing the same as the first leg, or more. They need goals, and one man to do it will be Nicolas Ibanez, At +125 it is a great spot for him to put one in the net. The big question is, Will Pachuca complete the comeback? I think they will get close with a 2-0 lead. But Atlas will come through with a crushing goal. With a final score of 2-1 (+650). Pachuca wins this game, but Atlas of Guadalajara will be crowned champions tonight.
