ANALYSIS

The Champions League is off and running and we're back with more picks for Tuesday. It's a slightly tougher day to find value on, with a number of very heavy favorites I'm steering away from, but I think this three-leg parlay has a really great chance to land.

3 Team Parlay - $50 stake would return $500

Tuesday Champions League Picks

Shakhtar vs. Inter Milan predictions - 1:55pm ET

1u - Romelu Lukaku to score @ +100

- Lukak has already scored 7 goals in 6 games for Inter Milan this season

Don't let that great result against Real Madrid fool you, this Shakhtar team are good but not spectacular. The reality is that Madrid are a hot mess and less of a cohesive team than this Inter Milan side. I was impressed with the Ukranian side though and won't be backing Inter today just in case, I will back Romelu Lukaku to continue his fantastic scoring streak though. He scored two goals last time out and Shakhtar did give up two goals to Real, showing that they can be got at. At even money I cannot say no to betting on the Belgian who is always at his best when he's brimming with confidence.

Liverpool vs. FC Midtjylland - 4:00pm ET

1u - Liverpool -2 @ -105

- Midtjylland gave up 4 goals to Atalanta last week

The Danes are second in the Danish top divison but they'll struggle to contain Liverpool's incredible attacking talent here. They gave up 4 goals to Atalanta and even domestically they've been leaky, giving up 5 in their last 3 games against a low standard of opposition. I'm taking the two goal handicap here but I wouldn't blame you if you pushed it and took -3 at +215. I'm going to stay conservative though and aim to land this parlay.

Atalanta vs. Ajax predictions - 4:00pm ET

1u - Atalanta to win and both teams to score @ +163

- Atalanta won their last Champions League game 4-0

One thing we know with Atalanta is that they have a great attack and absolutely love scoring goals. They became the hipsters choice in the Champions League last season because of their exciting style of play and unfashionable location in Bergamo. They're such an impressive team and I fancy them to really live up to the billing here against Ajax. Yes, Ajax won their last league game 13-0 but it's important to be clear that the standard of quality is at an all time low in the Eredivisie. Ajax still haven't replaced the likes of De Ligt in their backline and will ship goals to the Italians. I do think Ajax have enough to score though and I'm backing them Atalanta to win, but for both teams to score.
