There is no value in the betting on this game, so we'll be keeping this brief. Man City dominated the first leg and ended up winning 2-0. They'll more than likely do the same again but odds of -450 for a Man City win are just too short for us to consider betting on.
I did consider whether a draw, or even a Gladbach win at 12/1 could be worth half a unit, but I really can't justify it. They haven't won any of their past 8 games and it looks like the players have become disillusioned since it was announced that Marco Rose would be leaving at the end of the season to take charge of Dortmund.
Sadly that news has put an end to what was once looking like a promising season. This is still a really talented group of players, which a couple of young stars who will go on to bigger and better things, but it looks like the Gladbach project is paused, until next season at the earliest.
I think when it comes to betting this game I'd probably stay away, but given that I should suggest a pick I'd go for Man City to win to nil, which is very possible given their excellent defense. At even money it is really the only value that I can remotely see for this game.
