All of the public money is backing Bayern Munich here, with the German side clearly being chalk. I do worry that perhaps I'm underestimating PSG, something I did do before their first leg against Barcelona, but despite their ability I'm not sure they're on Bayern's level.

PSG are one of the best teams on the planet but Bayern Munich, and Man City, are both clear of the rest. This Bayern Munich team will be without some key men. Serge Gnabry has been ruled out, which is a loss but not a killer blow. Robert Lewandowski's injury on international duty for Poland is concerning though. Lewandowski is so lethal in front of goal that Bayern are a wore team without him. Leroy Sane may play up front as a false 9 but whoever takes that place up front will get excellent service, with Thomas Muller and Kingsley Coman supplying them.

Despite missing Lewandowski it's another injury that has led me to follow the public money and wager on Bayern Munich here. That injury of course if Marco Verratti, the Italian midfielder will be a big loss for the Parisians who rely on his metronomic passing to dictate the tempo. Also missing from the midfield is another Pochettino favorite, Leandro Parades. That leaves the base of the midfield likely filled by Idrissa Gueye and Danilo Pereira. They're good players but against a partnership of Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich they will struggle. 

Bayern's ability to dictate the tempo of this game will be key and crucially the Bayern team has plenty of pace. The likes of David Alaba and Alphonso Davies will be able to do a better job of protecting the German's net from Kyllian Mbappe and Neymar, who'll be looking to use their speed and ability in transition to attack them.

I expect Bayern to secure the win here but I think that the missing players might push this game toward being lower scoring than many imagine, so I'm going to recommend a small wager on Under 2.5 goals too.
