Italy are rightly favored to go through to the next round. They've been great under Roberto Macini and have far more quality throughout their squad than the other teams here.
Turkey have been widely described as a dark horse for this tournament and it's hard to disagree too, they've being playing well and in Burak Yilmaz they have a goalscorer in fine form.
There's not a huge amount of value to be had here.

Belgium | -130 | -2000 | +750 |
Denmark | +275 | -477 | +2800 |
Russia | +600 | -225 | +12500 |
Finland | +3300 | +250 | +50000 |
It certainly looks like Belgium's golden generation has missed their chance to win any silverware. Romelu Lukaku is one of Europe's best marksmen but aside from Kevin De Bruyne it feels like their team is on the way down now. Their backline is aging and one of their best talents, Eden Hazard, just hasn't looked fit for Real Madrid in a long time. They'll win the group but I don't expect them to go far.
Denmark are well organised and another team who are widely expected to perform well. I'm not totally buying into the help and I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a shock in this group. Russia were great in 2018 and although that tournament was entirely on home ground, I expect them to do well and think Aleksandr Golovin could have a real breakout performance for them.
Nobody expects much from Finland in their first tournament but if Iceland taught us anything in 2016 it's that debutants can really exceed their expectations. With only 8 teams leaving the tournament after the group stages I think Finland could offer a good bet to sneak their way in to the knockouts via the third place slot.

North Macedonia | +2000 | +260 | +50000 |
The Netherlands are -227 to win the group and -3300 to qualify for the next round. I think that could be a serious trap bet and don't want any part of it. I don't think this squad is packed with world class talent, and although they are the most talented in their group, I can't back myself to put faith in Frank de Boer to get them over the line. In my eyes they're the big name team most likely to implode.
So who takes their place? Ukraine were immense in qualifying and have bounced back from recent defeats and I feel they offer some good value.
Austria are one of those teams who are always in these tournaments but rarely actually do anything and I can't see them being brilliant today but they're compact and well organised and I can see them getting into the next round. I'd love to see North Macedonia do the business but I just can't see it, even if the Dutch impode.

EURO 2020 Odds: Group D
Team | To Win Group | To Qualify From Group | To Win EURO 2020 |
---|---|---|---|
England | -250 | -5000 | +600 |
Croatia | +320 | -300 | +4000 |
Czech Republic | +1200 | +100 | +17500 |
Scotland | +1600 | +125 | +25000 |
I'm clearly very biased here but despite some naysayers pouring scourn on England and their manager Gareth Southgate I'm convinced that England will have a good tournament. The fitness of Harry Maguire is a major concern but the attacking talent that England have in their squad is incredible and I think we could see any number of their talented youngsters explode onto the world scene this summer. Phil Foden, Mason Mount and Jude Bellingham have all competed at the highest level in the European club game but we could see them all become truly global names by the end of July.
So can anybody match England in Group D? Not for me. Croatia are the clear second best team here but they're three years older than they were when they knocked England out of the 2018 World Cup and they've only declined when England have grown.
Scotland have some talented players but heart and grit will only get you so far and the media expectations seem to be far higher than I believe their talent warrants, but a path to the knockout rounds is possible with a third place finish if they perform well, and a win over the Czech Republic would really help that.

EURO 2020 Odds: Group E
Team | To Win Group | To Qualify From Group | To Win EURO 2020 |
---|---|---|---|
Spain | -300 | -4000 | +950 |
Poland | +550 | -213 | +9000 |
Sweden | +650 | -185 | +10000 |
Slovakia | +1400 | +155 | +75000 |
This is one of the most exciting groups for me, with Spain potentially being slept on. It's obvious that they're not at the levels of their recent great teams but in Luis Enrique they have a smart manager and some young talent, such as Pedri, who could really make a name for themselves this year. In the lead up to the tournament we've mostly discussed the choice to leave out Sergio Ramos but that's arguably an insult to Spain, and we should be discussing whether their young core can win the tournament. I think that is likely to be a step too far for them but it's a great chance to build a young team and give them experience ahead of the World Cup in Qatar next year.
Elsewhere in the group I love the chances of Sweden to qualify who are hard to beat and in Alexander Isak they have one of the brightest young strikers in Europe and he's going under the radar. He is a real candidate to breakout and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him linked with a big money move to the Premier League within the next few weeks.
Poland are second favorites to win the group with the bookies but besides Robert Lewandowski I don't think they're a great team, albeit they are far better than Slovakia who are just hear to make up the numbers.

EURO 2020 Odds: Group F
Team | To Win Group | To Qualify From Group | To Win EURO 2020 |
---|---|---|---|
France | +140 | -1000 | +470 |
Germany | +150 | -800 | +900 |
Portugal | +350 | -333 | +900 |
Hungary | +4000 | +450 | +75000 |
It's the group that we're all talking about and the one who has taken the infamous 'Group Of Death' moniker this year.
So, somewhat unusually, let's start with Hungary. I really fancied them to pull off an upset and finish third in this group but the injury to Dominik Szoboszlai has really damaged my belief in them. Because of the great teams in Group F we haven't really heard much about Hungary who will be playing in front of home fans. Not only do they have home advantage but the stadiums in Budapest are going to be 100% full, the only stadiums in the tournament, at least during the group stages, to be so. That's a huge boost and I can see Hungary overperforming, however, without Szoboszlai, their best player, I think it's probably beyond them to qualify, but a little wager on them qualifying via a third place finish could be worth doing at odds of +450.
France should, and will, win the group. They have the best squad in the tournament and are stacked from top to bottom. The question for France is simply how far they'll go.
So who else escapes the group? Germany are second favorites but it's Portugal who are the better team in my view. Portugal have so much attacking talent that they've got a real chance to go deep in the competition and I think we'll see Bruno Fernandes overtake Portugal as their talisman this summer.
Germany are a real conundrum. They have a great pool of talent but it feels like Joachim Low has probably stayed as manager for a tournament too long. Will he move Joshua Kimmich to rightback? In my view he should, but nobody seems to know. However with young talent like Kai Havertz it's possible that Germany and Joachim Low could have one last hurrah.

EURO 2020 Odds: Winner Picks
France are the bookies favorites ahead of England, Belgium, Italy, Germany and Portugal and they should win. They're the best team in the tournament and have such incredible strength in depth from back to front. My heart is so desperate for England to win this and I think they have such a great chance but if my life depended on it I'd have to back France.
In this tournament, in this year of all years, is there a chance that illness could grip a team in the final stages of the tournament and cause a freak win?
France @ +500

EURO 2020 Odds: Golden Boot Picks
The Golden Boot is always a tough one to choose and it's worth remembering that most goals are scored in the group stages, often in games against teams of a lower quality. With that in mind I think it's best to look for a team in a group with fairly poor teams and also one who has the potential to also go fairly deep into the competition, even if they're not going to win EURO 2020.
For me the clear favorite is Romelu Lukaku, he's the main man for Belgium, their lynchpin and has been taking penalties when Eden Hazard has struggled with injuries, something he may continue to do here. He'll be facing Denmark, Russia and Finland in the groups and has a real chance to put up some big numbers. He's scored 30 in 44 games this year and notched on his last outing for the natonal team. He's the best of the short price favorites.
I'm also wagering on another player who could have a breakout tournament and that's Italy's Federicho Chiesa. Chiesa was Juventus' best player whenever I saw them this season and was a goal threat for his club scoring 15 in 46 games, and crucially 4 in 8 Champions League games, showing that he's the man for the big occasion. I don't rate Ciro Immobile, who'll be playing 9 for Italy, and think they'll need goals from those surrounding him on the flanks, either Chiesa or Lorenzo Insigne. At 150/1 I thik he's a great value wager here.
Romelu Lukaku @ +650
Federicho Chiesa @ +15000

EURO 2020 Odds: Player Of The Tournament Picks
If you believe France will win the tournament then it makes sense that a French player would win the best player award and you can't look any further than N'Golo Kante who was the best player for Chelsea in the Champions League down the stretch and he's a key member of this Les Blues team, giving the players with more flair the platform to showcase their skills, he's also a key component in driving the team forward.
N'Golo Kante @ +1600
EURO 2020 Odds: Young Player Of The Tournament Picks
There are a number of talented young players who I think could win this award. Personally I can't look beyond one of England's bright young things, Phil Foden. Although Mason Mount will be in the conversation I think it's Man City's youngster who could really use EURO 2020 to underline why he's the best young midfielder in the world.
Beyond England I like the look of Kai Havertz but given I'm unsure of how Germany will perform, I'll avoid him, that leaves me to select Alexander Isak. The young Swede has been firing in goals this season and a couple of goals here could give him this award and he's a huge price at 40/1.
Phil Foden @ +500
Alexander Isak @ +4000
EURO 2020 Odds: Team Goalscorer Prop Picks
Now we're going to look at one of the most fun markets. The top goalscorer for each team. There are some obvious big names who offer great value, as well as some attacking talents on weaker teams who i think could breakout in this tournament and offer some value.

Memphis Depay - Netherlands Top Scorer @ +138
Roman Yaremchuk - Ukraine Top Scorer @ +350
Moreno Gerard - Spain Top Scorer @ +600
