La Liga Week 7 Predictions, Picks, Odds: Real Madrid vs. Osasuna, Rayo Vallecano vs. Elche
Following a week off in professional soccer throughout Europe, La Liga is back this week with a host of great action already underway. While there are plenty of good matches on Saturday, let’s take a closer look at two Sunday matches I’m keyed in on with plenty of value remaining.
La Liga Week 7 Predictions
Real Madrid vs. Osasuna Prediction

Sitting firmly atop the table with 18 points, Real Madrid has won all six of their La Liga matches this season and sits two points ahead of both Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao. The last time we saw them on the pitch was one of their toughest tests to date, a 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid that they quickly built a 2-0 lead after 38 minutes.
At the top, Vinicius Junior has led the way with four goals through six games, currently #4 on the table of top scorers in the league.
This week, the reigning champs welcome to town a team that has so far exceeded expectations, as Osasuna sits 5th on the table with 12 points. The last time we saw them on the pitch, however, some cracks started to emerge as they fell to lowly Getafe at home, 0-2. Over their last four matches, Osasuna is 2-2 with a goal differential of -1 as they look to continue to claw their way to points.
In this match, I expect another fast start from Real Madrid, as they build another comfortable lead early and cost late, picking up a rather easy win in the end.

Rayo Vallecano vs. Elche Prediction

After a solid start to the season, Vallecano comes into this match having now lost three of their past four as they look to desperately get back on track. Their last time on the pitch was one of their most disappointing results thus far, losing 2-3 to Athletic Bilbao in what was a back-and-forth affair.
They might be in luck, however, as they now welcome to town one of the worst teams in all of professional European soccer in Elche. Through six games, Elche has amassed a record of 0-1-5, with their five losses racking up a goal differential of -14. Sitting firmly at the bottom of the table, they now face the tall task of heading to Vallecano to take on a ticked-off team with the talent to score goals.
Led by striker Isi Palazon who has yet to reach his potential yet this season, I like for Rayo Vallecano to get the job done this week as they pour it on late.
