Norwich vs. Brighton Predictions - 7:30am EST
Draw/Brighton (Halftime/Fulltime) @ +450
- Brighton have been drawing at halftime in their past 3 away games
It's a shame that Norwich are going to be relegated this season because they try to play attractive soccer but ultimately they're not quite at the level they need to be to survive. In four games since the break, including one in the FA Cup, Norwich haven't conceded in the first half in 75% of them. Graham Potter's Brighton have been playing well recently and I'd expect them to topple Norwich after a stalemate in the first half.
Manchester United vs. Bournemouth Predictions - 10:00am EST
Man Utd - 2 goals handicap @ +165
- Man Utd have won their last 2 EPL games 3-0
Bournemouth have been dreadful since returning from the break and have the look of a club in crisis. The same can't be said for Manchester United though, who look like a team who believe that they'll be challenging next season. +165 is a poor price for a 2 goal handicap but I can't take -185 for just the 1 goal.
The numbers all point towards this being a hammering. Bournemouth have lost every game since coming back, including 4-1 to Newcastle. They've lost their last 7 on the road and failed to score in 5 of those games. They've also conceded at least 2 goals in 6 of their last 7 games, showcasing how weak they are at the back.
Leicester City vs. Crystal Palace Predictions- 10:00am EST
Under 2.5 goals @ -144
- Leicester have only scored 2 goals in 4 games since the restart
- Crystal Palace have only scored 3 goals in 4 games since the restart
Put simply both of these teams haven't been banging them in, so we're looking for that trend to continue. Leicester really don't look like the team of old and Jamie Vardy in particular looks like he's lost a yard of his electric pace. Palace actually look a shout at +500, as does the draw at +275 but a low-scoring affair seems safer.
Wolves vs. Arsenal Predictions - 12:30pm EST
Under 2.5 goals @ -130
- Wolves have 7 clean sheets in their last 8 games
This is a really tough to game to call and I spent a lot of time pouring over the odds looking for value. I've begrudgingly taken the unders here because of Wolves good defensive record of late. They've had 7 clean sheets in their last 8 and the unders total has hit in their last 4 games.
Chelsea vs. Watford Predictions - 3:00pm EST
Christian Pulisic to score anytime @ +150
- Pulisic has scored in 50% of his appearances since the restart
It goes without saying that I think Chelsea get the 3 points here but I won't be taking -225. Instead, I'm looking at Christian Pulisic to notch another goal. He's starting to look like a key man in Frank Lampard's attacking system and with Olivier Giroud set to start through the middle, the young American is a more likely goal-getter than Willian on the other flank. His pace is frightening defenders and I can see him cutting inside and causing Craig Dawson and the rest of the Watford backline some serious issues.
