Saturday Premier League Picks
Burnley vs. Chelsea predictions - 11:00am ET
1u - Chelsea win to nil @ +175
- Chelsea have had 3 clean sheets in a row
Timo Werner and Kai Havertz caught the eye when they were signed by Chelsea this summer but since his introduction to the team I'm now certain that Edouard Mendy will go down as the best signing that Chelsea made in the summer of 2020. He's looked assured and confidence, everything that Kepa wasn't. He earned Chelsea a point against Manchester United and gives his team a platform to attack from. I'm expecting that to continue against a blunt Burnley team.
Liverpool vs. West Ham predictions - 1:30pm ET
1u - West Ham +2 @ -125
- West Ham haven't lost in the league in over a month
Liverpool will win this game I'd imagine but this West Ham team have been so much better than everybody, myself included, expected. David Moyes has instilled a great mentality in the team and they're hard to beat. The loss of Michail Antonio is a big one but I think West Ham can keep it close against a Liverpool team who have looked slightly shell shocked since Virgil van Dijk's injury.
Sunday Premier League Picks
Newcastle vs. Everton predictions - 9:00am ET
1u - Everton -1 @ +300
- Everton are top of the Premier League
The seventh consecutive week that we're backing Everton. Although this time it's less about Everton, who have been fantastic, but more about Newcastle. It feels like we're in the beginning of the end of Steve Bruce's time at Newcastle. They looked devoid of ideas and I don't believe that they'll be able to compete against a more driven and better coached Everton side.
Tottenham vs. Brighton predictions - 2:15pm ET
1u - Tottenham -1 @ +175
- Spurs have won 11 of their last 12 in the league
Forget that Europa League defeat, that can be forgiven, Spurs have been red hot in the league this year and crucially look like winners, something we've not been able to say much over the past 12 months. There's a lot to like about Brighton and how Graham Potter is coaching the team but they're just not at the same level as Tottenham and I can see this being a hammering.
