Here are four of my favorite plays for Saturday and Sunday's games, bet them individually or as a parlay for a bumper return.
4 Team Parlay - $50 stake would return $2200
Saturday Premier League Picks
1u - Everton @ -104
- Burnley have failed to score in 5 of their last 6 league games
Another weekend parlay, another pick for Everton. I can't get enough of this Everton side and they're a great value bet here. They face a Burnley team who haven't scored in 5 of their last 6 games, and sit in 19th. They've scored 4 goals all season, which is truly shocking and I don't think they'll be able to combat Everton's firepower. Only four teams have scored more than Everton and they'll easily get the win here.
1u - Leeds @ +510
- Leeds have scored 1.5 goals per game this season
I'd understand if you didn't think a 5/1 shot should be in a parlay. Let's be honest, Chelsea are favorites for this game for a reason and they deserve to be, but 5/1 is simply too big. This season Leeds have been a great help for other teams, if you look at how Marco Bielsa approaches any opposition it gives other teams a blueprint for how they should do it too. Frank Lampard and Bielsa have some history, if you remember spygate when Lampard was in charge of Leeds. The reality is that Lampard is nowhere near the tactician that Bielsa is and I think the Argentine's brains and guile will get Leeds a result here, be it a draw, or a win. I'm backing the win at over 5/1 and hoping we get a big windfall.
Sunday Premier League Picks
1u - Leicester @ +100
- Sheffied United have lost 12 of their last 13 league games
Nobody has suffered without fans more than Sheffield United but they simply aren't good enough to compete. I can't believe that any sportsbook is offering even money for Leicester City to win this game. They're fourth in the Premier League and have one of the best starting XI's in the league. They've scored 19 goals this season and they'll back themselves to dispatch the Blades comfortably here. This is well worth backing as a single wager and as part of a parlay.
1u - Under 2.5 goals @ -111
- Spurs have kept a clean sheet in their last 3 league games
This game is crying out for the unders to land. Spurs have gone under 2.5 goals in their last 3 Premier League games, keeping 3 clean sheets in the process and Arsenal have seen their last 3 on the road go under 2.5 goals. Mourinho is famed for parking the bus and he won't want to lose this game, but it is winnable for them too. I don't believe Arsenal will be able to score against them and Mikel Arteta simply can't afford to get beaten heavily here, he needs to get through this game.
