Premier League Predictions: Weekend Parlay Gameweek 14

Saturday Premier League Picks
Southampton vs. Man City predictions - 10:00am ET

If you've read my picks over the past few weeks then you'll be well aware about my thoughts on Ralph Hasenhuttl, who has impressed so much with his Southampton team. They're in heady heights in the Premier League and supporters are dreaming of European Football at St Mary's Stadium next year. I believe that they can do it but Man City will get the 3 points today. City have struggled at points recently but they've only lost 1 of their last 10. As Pep looks to build the second generation of his City team, it's clear that he's focused on the defense, who look much improved. City are no longer blowing people up but they're tighter at the back and are improving as a cohesive attacking unit each game. I think this game will be tied at the half but City should have enough to push in the second half and get the win.
Newcastle vs. Fulham predictions - 3:00pm ET

Fulham have looked much improved over the past few weeks and are another side trending in the right direction. They travel to Newcastle on Saturday, who are one of the league's Jekyll and Hyde teams, capable of either a great performance or a hideous one. I think they'll struggle against Fulham, who have kept their past games tight but have the firepower to trouble Newcastle.

Brighton vs. Sheffield United predictions - 7:00am ET

Sometimes when you're placing your bets you study the league table, study form and then take a deep dive into statistics and analytics. Sometimes, that isn't needed, and this is one of those rare times. Sheffield United are that bad. They took an early lead against Manchester United, thanks for a United error and then gave it away, with some awful mistakes. What's concerning for the Blades is that when you watch them play there isn't a single player who stands out, every player looks average at best. Jack O'Connell's long term injury has been a big problem for them, but add in the fresh injury of Sander Berge and they're looking even weaker. Take Brighton here, who should add to their two league wins.
Tottenham vs. Leicester predictions - 9:15am ET

I'll level with you, I don't feel super confident in this bet, but any opportunity you can get this Spurs team, at home, for over even money, you have to take it. Leicester have been good this season and sit just one point behind Spurs in the league table. When it comes down to it though I'm taking Spurs because of their tighter defense, they've conceded 5 less goals this year. Not only that but Harry Kane is currently playing well. He didn't score against Liverpool in their last game but on another day he'd have notched, and he's impressed this season, really buying into Jose Mourinho's leadership.
