This isn't a vintage Man Utd team and even when they were sat at the summit of the Premier League I always believed that they'd drop down. Man City are simply light years ahead of everyone and I'd argue that Chelsea are probably the second best team in the league on current form.
That said you have to respect Man Utd who haven't lost on the road in the league in 20 games. That's an incredible record and I back them to extend it on Wednesday.
Crystal Palace sit 13th in the league and they should count themselves very fortunate that there are so many awful teams in the league this year that it has likely pushed them out of relegation contention. Wilfried Zaha is a true gamechanger and Eberechi Eze is one of the league's most fun young players, but besides them it's not a good side.
Palace's bigget issue is their manager. Roy Hodgson is by all accounts a great man, and a legend of the game, but sadly his style of play and his ideas aren't dynamic or relevent in 2021. I won't be as unkind as to call him a dinosaur but it's clear that Palace won't move on or develop with him at the helm.
They won't manage to score against United, who are slowly improving at the back. The league's second placed team have had four clean sheets in their past six games and I'd back them to add another one today, even though they have conceeded to other struggling sides like Newcastle and West Brom.
I'm not expecting this to be an exciting game but to me it feels like a routine victory for United. I'm backing them to win to nil, at very generous odds of +135, and having an extra little wager on the correct score because this game feels a lot like a 2-0 to me.
