Both of these teams come into the game after victories in the Europa League on Thursday and both sides would believe that they've been improving over the past 3-4 weeks. It's been a long season for both of these North London clubs, with both managers having been the subject of intense speculation early in the season.
Here we are in March though and Mikel Arteta and Jose Mourinho are still here and just 7 points seperate the two teams in the league, with Spurs the closest to the Champions League spots.
There was a time when this fixture felt like an automatic three points for the Gunners but times have changed with Spurs winning three of the last six meetings, with Arsenal winning just one. 33% of the ties have ended up as draws and that feels like something we could see again this Sunday.
In those past 6 games we've seen plenty of goals, with 4 games seeing both teams score. I certainly don't trust either of these sides to keep a clean sheet, and both have the attacking strength that could, and likely should, see them finding the back of the net.
Given the season that both sets of players have had this is a game in which a draw would suit both, it's just important that they don't lose. Everything is pointing towards a draw here for me, with that likely being a score draw. If I were to back either side to win it would be Spurs but when all is said and done a tie just looks the most likely, and was the result when the two sides last met at the Emirates.
