There are many questions surrounding Tottenham’s transfer window action and Harry Kane’s future with Spurs. The hosts are confident on keeping hold of Kane, but he has been linked with a move to Man City all summer long. He only returned to training 8 days before the start of the season, and he will probably remain on the bench or out of the squad against City as his future remains in doubt.

Their pre-season campaign was far from ideal. They lost the DA Community Shield final 1-0 to Leicester being without Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden, both injured. Both players, crucial figures for the Citizens, will miss the clash against Spurs.

Riyad Mahrez is the player to watch against Tottenham. His dribbling skill and explosion will probably pose the biggest threat. He has impressed in the pre-season, and he’s expected to bring his A game once again and remain consistent during the entire season. He has a great opportunity to improve his numbers this season.
