Premier League Parlay: A Couple of High Scoring Affairs

Premier League Round 13 Parlay at +259

A challenging game for Antonio Conte and Tottenham on the road against Burnley while revived Aston Villa travel to take on the in-form Crystal Palace club this weekend in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace vs. Aston Villa - Saturday, November 27 - 10:00 am ET

Crystal Palace vs. Aston Villa Odds

High Scoring Affair

Palace played an entertaining 3-3 draw with Burnley last weekend while Aston Villa got off to a perfect start under Steven Gerrard, ending their 5-game losing run as goals from Ollie Watkins and Tyrone Mings saw them beat Brighton 2-0.

Before the 2-0-win, Aston Villa conceded 11 goals in four games, so don't get distracted by their first clean sheet in six games. Crystal Palace is unbeaten on home soil, winning two in six games. They failed to score just once during this period (goalless draw against Brentford). They've been in fine form themselves and are unbeaten in their last seven EPL fixtures.

Both teams have scored in five of Crystal Palace's last seven games and in three of Aston Villa's last five away games. Palace are the kings of draws in the EPL. They registered 7 draws in 12 rounds. They are many goals against top teams in the league. From their 17 goals conceded, ten were against teams who are fighting for a top 4 finish.

Last season the two teams shared their points winning their home matches, and we've seen over 2.5 goals on both occasions. It's dangerous to play one of the teams here, but if you want to sprinkle a small stake on one of the teams, the value is on Crystal Palace, priced at +120 with Bet365.

Steven Gerrard is determined to implement his 4-3-3 pressing attacking style but needs more than one week to do that. Last weekend Villa gave away the possession, and we expect them to have the same approach and try to strike on the break. It worked last week, and we believe that their great pace should help us win our selection. The hosts are in fantastic goal-scoring form, so we have all the ingredients for our over 2.5 goals to hit.

  • 1st Pick of the Parlay: Over 2.5 Goals (+105)

Burnley vs. Tottenham - Sunday, November 28 - 9:00 am ET

Burnley vs. Tottenham Odds

Upset Incoming?

Upset of the week, maybe? I think we should sprinkle a small stake on Burnley PK at -105. There's plenty of value on that play. Leeds was perfect in the first half against Spurs last weekend but was too naïve in the second half, making them lose the game. Personally, I was not impressed with Tottenham's win over Leeds.

With Harry Kane and Dele Alli in the starting XI, Spurs registered zero shots on target (in the 1st half) on the road against Mura, a small team from Slovenia. Antonio Conte can't turn Tottenham into a team with a killer instinct in 1 month. Maybe next season, we will see a better Tottenham. They look lost in many moments of the game, they have no vision, and for many periods inside their matches, they are walking without being interested in what's happening.

On the other side, Maxwell Cornet is on fire for Burnley. His attacking ability is top-notch, and he's once again the player to watch for the hosts. He scored five goals this season from Burnley's 14. The Clarets scored 9 goals in their last 4 games, and they even pulled off a minor upset two rounds ago, keeping leaders Chelsea to a 1-1 draw. Burnley's form has improved following a poor start to the new Premier League season, and they have the necessary weapons to win at least one point against Spurs. The only problem is that they struggle badly at the back. They kept just one clean sheet in 12 EPL games, and we expect them to concede again.

We won't complicate it and go for "both teams to score" for our second pick of the parlay. We were very close to taking a shot on the home draw double chance too.

  • 2nd Pick of the Parlay: Both teams to score (-133)
