Southampton vs. Leicester Odds
Defensive Issues
Leicester managed to return to winning ways last weekend, beating Watford 4-2 on home soil. They've won three of their last four EPL games at St. Mary's Stadium, scoring 16 goals in the process. However, it will be very complicated for Leicester to finish in the top 4 this season. They are now sitting 10th, and they are trailing 4th placed West Ham by 5 points.
The visitors have scored and conceded in each of their last 13 Premier League road fixtures, and they scored two or more goals in 7 of their previous 11 games across all competitions. Jamie Vardy is the only non-Liverpool player sitting in the top 4 EPL scorers' chart with 9 goals netted this season.
The visitors will be without Youri Tielemans, James Justin, Ricardo Pereira, and Wesley Fofana, while Southampton has no serious injury issues being expected to use their best starting XI. The hosts have scored just 11 goals all season long, struggling to convert their goal attempts. They won just three games in 13, and they enter this clash on the back of two defeats in a row.
It's not the time for the Saints to panic as they are sitting 5 points clear of the danger zone, but they must pick up points because if they continue like that, January will find them in the red zone. Leicester has finally clicked into gear, and the betting value is with them. Given all their season injury issues, the Foxes are doing great to sit just 5 points behind the top 4. So this is an excellent opportunity for Brendan Rodgers and company to return home with the 3 points.
If you don't trust them because, yes, they are inconsistent, you could easily go for the goals market and expect a high-scoring affair, but for our first pick of the parlay, we are going with a value bet.
1st Pick of the Parlay: Leicester +0 (Draw No Bet) (+110)
Tottenham vs. Brentford - Thursday, December 2 - 2:30 p.m. ET
Not easy for Spurs
Tottenham's fixture against Burnley has been called off due to wintery weather conditions in the north of England, so Spurs enter this clash well rested after their Conference League defeat to Mura. Basically, we won our weekend parlay because Crystal Palace and Aston Villa offered us a high-scoring affair at +105 while 'Both teams to score' in Burnley vs. Tottenham pushed.
We still think Antonio Conte can't turn Tottenham into a team with a killer instinct before next season, and Tottenham will not finish in the top 7 this term. Maybe they will spend big in the winter transfer window, and we will another a different Spurs, an aggressive team, a team with ambitions and desire. Till then, don't even think to spend your time and money betting on Tottenham because they lack consistency and determination.
On the other side, Brentford is enjoying a decent first season in the top-flight league. So far this season, they pulled off some great upsets, and they are a bit overpriced for this clash (+440). We won't back them to win the game, but we expect them to bring their A-game and at least find the back of the net. They are always playing on the front foot, no matter their opponent. They will try to take advantage of Spurs' poor form, and why not return home with at least 1 point.
They contributed on the scoreboard in 10 of their previous 11 games across all competitions. Brentford has lost just once on the road since their promotion to the top-flight, but it's a bit dangerous to back them with a draw double chance option given Tottenham's home record. You could give a +1 Asian Handicap as we don't expect them to lose by more than 1 goal. But for our second parlay pick, we are taking both teams to score
2nd Pick of the Parlay: Both Teams to Score (-110)
