Norwich vs. Man United - Saturday, December 11 - 12:30 p.m. ET
After ten winless games, Norwich returned to winning ways, recording their only two victories of the season against Brentford and Southampton. However, the dream ended last weekend when they were smashed 3-0 on the road by Tottenham.
They are back at the bottom of the table on goal difference, but they are equal on points with Newcastle and Burnley. Every point is gold for the Canaries, but we don't expect them to pull off the upset and win point/s against Man United. They have improved since Dean Smith replaced Daniel Farke, but they are not a team to be backed.
On the other side, United is unbeaten since they sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Ralf Rangnick's era started in a positive way with a short but deserved victory against Crystal Palace. On Wednesday, the Red Devils played their last Champions League group stage game, being kept to a 1-1 draw by Young Boys. Still, they played their second string, having the luxury of resting most of their key players, meaning fatigue won't be a factor in this game.
The win against Crystal Palace moved United into the sixth position in the Premier League table, just three points behind the top four. They have an easy schedule for the festive period, and we expect them to at least end the year in fifth place if West Ham won't drop points.
A straight away win has no value as United as priced at -200 with Bet365, so the best way to squeeze some value out of this clash is to give the visitors a -1 handicap. Norwich has the worst defense in the league, with 31 goals conceded in 15 games. They will be without the services of Milot Rashica and Christoph Zimmermann, but they have a decent attacking line with Josh Sargent and Teemu Pukki leading the line.
On the other side, Rangnick is expected to go all in and use the same attacking line with Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford, helped by Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho. The Red Devils should have enough to score at least twice on their own, so the -1 is a free hit.
- 1st Pick of the Parlay: Man United -1 (-137)
Burnley vs. West Ham - Sunday, December 12 - 9:00 a.m. ET
Burnley is winless in their last four games, failing to find the back of the net during the previous two matches. They have the second-worst attack in the league, with just 14 goals this season. Last season they lost both games against West Ham.
On the other side, The Hammers are enjoying a fantastic campaign sitting fourth in the standings with 27 points earned in 15 games. The gap between them and their followers is not significant, so they must keep winning to secure the top four. They have a relatively easy festive period, and if we are looking at their next games, they should end the year in the top 4. They are playing two relegation teams (Burnley and Norwich), Watford, who are three points above the danger zone, then 16th placed Southampton and Arsenal.
They played Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday, but they rested most of their key players, so they are fully fit and ready to deliver. They pulled off a remarkable upset last weekend, beating former leaders Chelsea 3-2 on home soil.
Burnley has many injury issues missing star man Maxwel Cornet, who was forced off at St James' Park after 30 minutes. Ashley Barnes, Phil Bardsley, and Dale Stephens are also our while captain Ben Mee who missed last week's clash against Newcastle is doubtful.
West Ham may be weakened at the back with Kurt Zouma sustaining a hamstring injury, but they are huge favorites to win this clash on paper. However, the +100 on an away win is a bit tricky, so we have another approach, and we're going with West Ham to score at least two goals on their own.
