Despite not much separating them from the first salvation spot, Norwich looks destined to get relegated and go back to the Championship. They are sitting dead last with just 17 points picked up in 27 games having the worst attack and defense in the league with 16 goals scored and 58 conceded. On top of that, they only managed to contribute on the scoreboard in just 15 games all season long.
They enter this clash on the back of four defeats in a row and we expect them to extend that losing streak. On the other side, Chelsea destroyed Burnley last weekend beating them 4-0 in their third consecutive league clean sheet. Kai Havertz added two more goals to his season tally and if you like your players' props, he is priced at +180 with DraftKings to be an anytime goalscorer.

Chelsea did drop plenty of points in December and January. However, they have hardly set a foot wrong since then but we must accept the fact that they are no longer involved in the title race. They also have a tough schedule till the end of the season with Champions League games included so Thomas Tuchel might rest some of his key players for this clash. Still, Chelsea should have enough to cover the spread. On top of that, we don’t expect Norwich to find the back of the net.
Tuchel is expected not to risk Cesar Azpilicueta on Thursday and the same could also apply to Marcos Alonso who finally tested negative for covid-19. The hosts will not be able to use Billy Gilmour against his parent club. Norwich has allowed at least three goals at home against the top four and got trashed in the reserve match losing 7-0 on the road at Stamford Bridge. The Canaries are yet to record a win over the visitors in the 21st century and their last win in this fixture came at Carrow Road in 1994 in the Premier League.
Norwich vs Chelsea Pick

Southampton vs. Newcastle

Southampton suffered a damaging 4-0 defeat at the hands of Aston Villa last weekend. It was the first time after 13 games the Saints failed to find the back of the net. It was one of the most entertaining weekend games, with great opportunities from both sides but Southampton struggled to convert their chances. They have an impressive Premier League home record against Newcastle United and have lost only two of their last 20 matches against the Magpies at St. Mary's.
On the other side, Eddie Howe’s men managed to beat Brighton adding three more points between them and the drop zone. They are still not safe but they enter this clash on the back of eight unbeaten domestic league games winning five in the process. They will be without Isaac Hayden, Jamal Lewis, Kieran Trippier, and Callum Wilson while Matt Ritchie may be able to come back from his knee issue.

For Southampton, Mohammed Salisu will need to be assessed ahead of this fixture after missing our last weekend’s game against Villa while Shane Long and Nathan Tella are also doubtful. Southampton is unbeaten in their last 10 Premier League matches at home, their longest run in nearly 17 years but Newcastle has shown tremendous improvement in recent weeks and we expect them to return home with at least one point. Let’s not complicate things and avoid the winners’ market.
Last year’s two mutual encounters between the two sides finished with at least four goals and we expect another high-scoring affair between two attacking sides in great form, leave alone Southampton’s 4-0 defeat to Aston Villa.
