Premier League, Bundesliga, and La Liga Picks: Liverpool Eager to Maintain the Pressure on Man City

Brighton vs. Liverpool (Premier League Round 29)

Liverpool is set for another dominant performance in the Premier League this weekend when they travel to play Brighton. The Reds are just six points behind the Citizens with one game in hand on the leaders with 10 rounds to go till the end of the season. They won their last seven Premier League fixtures and they also qualified in the Champions League quarter-finals beating Inter 2-1 on aggregate.

Despite returning to full training, Roberto Firmino was not ready to return against Inter, but there is a strong chance that the Brazilian attacker will be back in the squad this weekend. Jurgen Klopp has no important injury issues for Saturday’s clash against Brighton so we expect him to use his best starting lineup. The top three goal scorers in the Premier League this season all wear the Liverpool jersey. Mohamed Salah has registered 19 goals, while both Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota have scored 12 goals each.

Brighton is out of form. They enter this clash on the back of four defeats in a row, failing to find the back of the net on three occasions. They have the third-worst attack in the league with just 26 goals scored in 27 games. This should be an easy win for Liverpool and we are taking them to cover the -1 spread.

Hoffenheim vs. Bayern Munich (Bundesliga Round 26)

With nine rounds to go till the end of the season, Bayern is leading the Bundesliga standings with 59 points, nine more than Dortmund who has a game in hand on them. Fresh from a superb performance in the 7-1 victory against Salzburg in the Champions League Round of 16, Bayern will be looking to secure their lead at the top of the table with another convincing win against Hoffenheim.

Manuel Neuer is back between the posts following his return from surgery while Corentin Tolisso and Leon Goretzka are also nearing returns from respective injuries. Alphonso Davies remains unavailable, being the only important player missing from the squad.

On the other side, Hoffenheim won their previous four domestic league games and will probably find the back of the net once again given Bayern’s defensive struggles but the Bavarian giants should have enough to return home with the three points. They won the reverse match beating Hoffenheim 4-0 on home soil and we expect them to cover the -1 spread.

Rayo Vallecano vs. Sevilla (La Liga Round 28)

There is a huge difference between the two sides. Rayo Vallecano was seen as the surprise package two months ago winning an impressive number of games in front of their fans. They are now 13th in the standings with 29 points, just five points above the danger zone and they lost their last six La Liga fixtures failing to score in five of them. They can still be happy with their top-flight league campaign sitting many weeks in the top four and reaching the semi-finals of the Spanish Cup.

On the other side, Sevilla is still pushing for the La Liga title sitting second, eight points behind leaders Real Madrid. They enter this clash on the back of an important 1-0 win over West Ham in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16 with Munir El Haddadi scoring a superb goal. Despite dominating and creating many scoring opportunities, they were held to a goalless draw last weekend by relegation-threatened Alaves and we don’t expect them to repeat the same mistakes again.

Sevilla has not finished higher than fourth since 2009 so they will be thrilled even if they finish second. On top of that, the six times Europa League winners are one of the main favorites to win the competition for the seventh time this season. They are a bit overpriced to win this contest so we can’t avoid betting on them at +130.

Pick: Sevilla ML at +130 with Bet365 (Bet $100 to Win $130)
