Weekend Soccer Picks: Don't Miss These Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga Picks

Southampton vs. Arsenal (Premier League Round 33) - Saturday 10 AM ET

The Premier League title race is going to be wild but the fourth and final Champions League spot is also very important with Tottenham and Arsenal being separated by just three points in fourth and fifth respectively. The Gunners have a game in hand on the Spurs.

Arsenal dropped nine points in their previous three EPL games but we expect them to bounce back against a Saints side that is already on vacation. Southampton was thrashed 6-0 by Chelsea in their most recent matchup and they enter this clash on the back of five defeats in their last six games across all competitions.

In each of their five defeats, they allowed at least two goals, being a shadow of their former selves. Since Southampton have nothing to play for in the remainder of the season, we don’t expect them to return to winning ways this weekend against Arsenal. Arsenal still has some huge fixtures to play against the likes of Chelsea, Man United, West Ham, and Tottenham that will have major consequences on the standings. That’s why this is a must-win for Arteta and Co. Still, we simply can’t trust the Gunners to return home with the three points. Instead, we do trust them to score at least twice on their own.

Southampton vs. Arsenal Picks

Pick: Arsenal Team Total Over 1.5 goals in the match at (-105) (Bet $105 to Win $100)

Cagliari vs. Sassuolo (Serie A Round 33) - Saturday 6:30 AM ET

How not to go against a team with five consecutive league defeats? And mostly when they are playing against one of the teams we love backing, one of the most offensive teams in the Serie A, Sassuolo.

Cagliari is sitting just three points above the drop zone but behind them, Venezia has a game in hand on them. Imagine how desperate they are to return to winning ways and add some more points to their season tally.

They failed to find the back of the net in three of these five defeats, with two of them being on home soil. They are winless in their last 11 mutual encounters with Sassuolo with their last win coming in 2016. On the other side, Sassuolo lost just once in their last eight Serie A games but they immediately bounce back, beating Atalanta last weekend.

Mert Muldur will serve a one-match suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season last weekend, so Jeremy Toljan is expected to start at right-back in Muldur's place, joining Vlad Chiriches, Kaan Ayhan, and Giorgos Kyriakopoulos at the back.

Seven of the last eight meetings between these two sides have ended in draws, including the 2-2 stalemate in November's reverse fixture. That’s why we are not going with a straight away win and we will cover ourselves with the draw no bet option, meaning that in case of a draw we will receive our stake back.

Cagliari vs. Sassuolo Pick

Pick: Sassuolo PK (DNB) at (-133) (Bet $133 to Win $100)

Union Berlin vs. Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga Round 30) - Sunday 11:30 AM ET

Eintracht Frankfurt returns their attention to the Bundesliga after pulling off the upset and beating Barcelona 3-2 on the road in the Europa League quarter-finals, knocking them out of the competition. They are winless in their previous three Bundesliga fixtures and have no chance to finish the season in a European position as they are sitting 9th in the standings, five points behind the top six.

They have all their eggs in the Europa League basket and they will try to go all the way and lift the title, which is their only chance to play in the Champions League next season. They will be very tired after the midweek clash against Barca so we expect them to struggle against an in-form Union Berlin.

The hosts came on top in the Berlin derby beating their city rivals 4-1 on the road. The capital club is eyeing their third consecutive league win, and the bookies see them as favorites to beat die Adler in front of home fans and keep their European hopes alive.

Union Berlin vs. Eintracht Frankfurt Pick

Pick: Union Berlin ML at (+115) (Bet $100 to Win $115)
