English Premier League (EPL) Top Prop Bets for Week 8 (2022): Trust Bukayo Saka and Harry Kane

The English Premier League is scheduled to return this week, beginning with a Friday afternoon game between Aston Villa and Southampton, after a week that was postponed due to the death of the Queen. While there are many intriguing clashes on the schedule this week, let's focus on the two that interest me the most from a betting standpoint, which includes two player props I like to cash.

Brentford's performance thus far in this first EPL season has been one of the biggest surprises on the table. Through five games, they have only lost once, and they are currently ranked eighth in the standings with nine total points and a goal differential of +6. After defeating Leeds United last week, the road becomes much more difficult this week as they welcome Arsenal to visit.

The Gunners, who have played six EPL games, are now in first place with 15 points (5-0-1), depending on their tenacious defense as they enter this match with a goal differential of +7. In terms of the strikers, it has been  Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus scoring six of the team's 14 goals so far, making them the center of the defenses' attention.

Despite the attention they continue to receive, I believe that fellow striker Bukayo Saka will make the difference in this game and score, much as he did in their most recent Champions League match against Manchester United.

Tottenham vs. Leicester Prediction

Leicester fans had cause to assume their team will be decent this season and find themselves in the mix as the season stretched on after they opened the season with a 2-2 draw at Brentford. Nearly two months later, expectations have changed significantly as a result of the team's subsequent five straight losses, which have resulted in a goal difference of -8 to this point.

A 5-2 loss against Brighton the last time we watched them play was probably the worst defeat of the year, demonstrating the dire need for a change at the top. The road ahead becomes even more difficult as they go to Tottenham to face a club that has yet to lose this year while now they (Leicester) are now sitting last in the standings.

Tottenham currently sits near the top of the Premier League with a 4-2-0 record. Despite this, they enter this match after Tuesday's 2-0 Champions League defeat to Sporting CP, a game they couldn't connect on multiple great chances. Harry Kane, who is currently third on the EPL scoring table after six games with five goals, is continuing exactly where he left off last season.

Look for him to score another goal against a weak Leicester defense as they easily secure the victory.
