For the first time this season, Liverpool managed to win two games in a row, and Nottingham is the perfect opponent for the Reds to make it three in a row and close the gap on the top spots. Liverpool managed just two clean sheets in their opening eight Premier League fixtures, but we don’t expect them to concede here. Still, we hate the "win to nil" market, so we will avoid that bet.

The hosts have been struggling in the final third this term and have scored just one goal in their last four games. They have seven defeats in 11 games so far, they have failed to score in five of those, and they are sitting last in the standings.

Liverpool's last weekend impressive win over the Citizens may reignite their season. They managed to double that up with another win against West Ham but without shining. Currently, they are placed seventh in the table and need a surplus of only four points to climb level with the fourth-placed Chelsea.

Liverpool’s away record against newly promoted sides swings the odds further in their favor as they are unbeaten in their last 16 away league games against such sides. Given the difference in quality between the two sides, we expect the Reds to cover the spread here easily. Darwin Nunez and Mo Salah should both start here, and we expect them both to find the back of the net.

Eight wins in a row across all competitions, nine wins in 10 Premier League games… Yes, we are talking about Arsenal, and it’s crazy. Wait, we forgot to say three clean sheets in a row across all competitions. It’s crazy, right? They are leading the Premier League standings, and we expect them not to stop here.

On the other side, Southampton lost three of their last five. However, they are on the heels of a well-deserved 1-0 road victory against Bournemouth. They have the fourth-lowest possession percentage in the league, and we expect it to stay this way against an Arsenal side that loves to dominate and find the best moment to attack.

Arsenal has scored 16 goals from open play and five from set pieces. They have great attacking firepower, and despite struggling against Leeds, they still won, consolidating their leading spot. You know what they say, even when they play badly, the big teams still manage to win games. We love betting on Arsenal because they score a lot, but they also defend well.

They have the second-best defense in the Premier League overall and the best defense on the road, with just three goals allowed in five games. We will back them to win this clash, but we will combine it with the goals market as we don’t expect more than three goals in the match.
