USA World Cup Prediction: Tail This Expert's No-Brainer 2022 World Cup Bet

Well guys we are just two days away from kickoff at the 2022 World Cup and I am ecstatic. I am not a major soccer bettor as you are all aware. It's just not really my favorite but I follow soccer quite a bit despite that and definitely keep up with a few of the world's top leagues as well as national team play.

USA World Cup Prediction

I do not plan on overdoing things here and trying to bite off too much, I don't force action just for the sake of it but there isn't a thing in the world you could do to keep me from betting on the greatest competition in all of soccer. The World Cup is a beautiful thing and something I love dearly, I am so excited for what is to come.

With that said, I will have action throughout the entirety of the competition but want to start off our World Cup with one of my favorite futures on my card thus far. The United States Men's National Team will return to the biggest stage the sport has to offer for the first time in eight years.

The squad failed to qualify in 2018 after an embarrassing match against Trinidad and Tobago and the squad has had a reboot since then. Jermaine Jones, Clint Dempsy, Tim Howard and company are no longer around from the 2014 team and this squad looks entirely different than they did even just four years ago.

New coaching, young talent, and a promising group led by a handful of players with word class potential are what the US sent to Qatar. I am not sitting here saying they will win this thing whatsoever but I am saying this team is promising with nothing but upside in my eyes.

Christian Pulisic and Weston McKennie are the young stars already making big names for themselves overseas but there are plenty of other guys who should make an impact. Matt Turner is solid between the goalposts and I am going to make a prediction that Joshua Sargent is one of the standouts for this squad in the tournament.

I am not going to analyze the whole squad but just naming a few pieces I believe will be important; this team still has chemistry to develop but collectively they have so much talent and tenacity among them. The squad showed a lot of heart in the CONCACAF final last year defeating Mexico 3-2 after trailing twice in the game and I think they learned a lot through that competition.

In 2014 the team qualified for the round of sixteen in a gauntlet opening group with both Portugal and the eventual victor Germany in their group. They found a way to get out of the group stage and I truly believe that is the bare minimum standard for the team this year. A win against Iran is vital but probable. Wales provides a stronger challenge but I think the US takes care of business in the opener. England is the biggest challenge obviously but the guys love to step up to the challenge and this is not the best England team we have ever seen. They are beatable and the USMNT will give them a handful. I think the boys could possibly win the group outright so this play is a no-brainer to me.
