Argentina vs. Mexico Prediction

Argentina and Messi lost their first match against Saudi Arabia, resulting in a 2-1 final score. As I said before the World Cup began, I think this Argentina team is overrated. They are good but do not have a chance to win the World Cup. Argentina will be out of the World Cup if they lose this match. They played a good first half against Saudi Arabia and should've been up 3-4 goals at halftime. Argentina had three goals taken away because of an offside call. It was simply just not their day in front of the goal.

On the other hand, Mexico played a goalless draw against Poland. This was a very boring matchup without many big chances to score. Poland did not create much either, but Guillermo Ochoa saved a penalty from Robert Lewandowski. Mexico does not need to win this match, a draw is good enough for them. Mexico does not have the same quality compared to Argentina.

Argentina is going to force Mexico to park the bus, they will have a lot of possessions, and ultimately get many chances to score. While Argentina beat Mexico 4-0 a few years ago, I don't see Mexico losing this game with four goals, but I think it can get ugly if Argentina gets the early goal. Argentina has scored at least two goals against Mexico in nine straight matches.
