Brazil Player Prop Predictions
I am taking these two Brazil player prop picks for two very different reasons. I'm backing one of them based on pure talent and the other I'll be backing on form.
Let's start with the play I'll be making on form.
Richarlison has been playing some of the best football at the World Cup and he happens to play on the best team in the world as well. That's a recipe for goals.
In three games, Richarlison is tied for the second most goals in the World Cup with three. He's a real threat to win the Golden Boot. Unfortunately for him, he was held out of the final group stage game because the result didn't matter for Brazil, but when he's out there he's scoring goals.
Playing up top for the most talented team in the world has its benefits. He sees countless quality balls in the middle and is bound to finish on one or more of them on Friday. at +185 it's a no-brainer.
As for my second Brazil player prop pick, it should be no surprise to see Neymar's name here.
Neymar has the shortest anytime goalscorer odds in the game. And, while some may say that's bad value, the chances he gets are just too good to pass up.
It's important to note that Neymar takes penalties for the Brazilians, so right off the bat, we get a chance if there are any fouls that end up with a try from the spot.
Neymar is one of the best players in the world still and, like Richarlison, there is so much talent around him that Croatia won't be able to pay attention to him like they really should. That leaves him open to score, as he did in their Round of 16 matchup.
