The Multi Sport Daily Parlay 05/12
Nobody loves a good parlay like us at Oddschecker. Every day we'll give you our picks for the day, four expert picks to smash together and bet as a parlay.
The first leg starts at 3:00pm ET.
Today we're going:
Pick One – Hockey (National Hockey League):
Carolina Hurricanes @ Boston Bruins – 3pm ET
Although the Canes swept the Islanders prior to their Conference Final match-up with the Bruins (who had to go six against the Blue Jackets), Carolina seemed to be the more lethargic team of the two. Perhaps it’s Boston’s greater playoff experience showing in these later stages of the post season, but I expect the Bruins to go two up in the series today.
BOS Bruins Moneyline @-150
Pick Two – Basketball (National Basketball Association):
Portland Trailblazers @ Denver Nuggets – 3:30pm ET
There’s no escaping how good the Nuggets have been on home court this year, and I expect their performance today to be equally impressive. So far in the playoffs they’ve gone 5-2 at the Pepsi Center, with 4 of their 5 wins coming by 9 points or more. The Trailblazers on the other hand have been patchy moving from the back end of the regular season and into the playoffs. So far they’ve gone 2-3 on the road in the post season, and when losing on the road, they’ve lost 6 of 7 by greater margins than today’s spread.
DEN Nuggets (-5.5) @-110
Pick Three - Baseball (Major League Baseball):
Cincinnati Reds @ San Francisco Giants – 4:05pm ET
Two teams here that haven’t looked great at all, even more so for the Giants at home. The Reds should be running high into their 4th game versus the Giants following their 3-straight wins and at plus money, they have to be the play here to sweep the series.
CIN Reds Moneyline @+100
Pick Four – Baseball (Major League Baseball):
Washington Nationals @ Los Angeles Dodgers – 4:10pm ET
Despite a 2-1 series lead for the Nationals, they’re still a bottom third road team in the NL, facing the top home team in the conference. LA have won 11 of their last 13 at Dodgers Stadium and out of those, 8 have come by 2 or more runs. In that same space of time the Nats have gone 5-10 on the road, with an astounding 9 of their 10 loses coming at deficits of 2 runs or more. We’re taking the Dodgers to level the series 2-2 and to do so by a healthy margin.
LA Dodgers (-1.5) @+150
