Seppi comes into his second match of the tournament in good spirits after a demanding win of 3 sets to 1 against the extremely gifted Auger-Aliassime. He faces 91st ranked, Soonwoo Kwon. This one is close to a pick em, but I’m favoring Seppi between these two guys. Not only is Seppi coming off of an impressive win in the first round, but he has also won 7 of his last 9 professional matches.

Struff is a favorite here against Facundo Bagnis for good reason. He beat one of the best in the sport in his first round in Andrey Rublev. Rublev is ranked 4th and had a chance at winning this tournament. The fact that Struff came into this tournament as an underdog right away and came out with the win, shows what this man is made of, and how little fear he has. Struff also outranks his opponent Bagnis, by 62 spots (42 vs. 104).

I’m liking Alexandrova here in her second match of the tournament against Barbora Krejcikova. She has also gotten the better of Krejcikova in her career, beating her in 3 out of 4 matchups. Taking Alexandrova as an underdog in round 2 is the right thing to do here.
