French Open 2021 Predictions & Picks

We saw another 2-2 day from our picks on Thursday. Better than a losing day, but let’s get ourselves in the winning circle for Day 6 of this tournament. Here are some players I’m looking to target on Friday.

French Open 2021 Men's Picks - June 4

Fabio Fognini vs. Federico Delbonis Prediction

Federico Delbonis @ +150

There are virtually no underdogs to realistically take on Friday for the men’s matchups except for this one with Delbonis facing Fabio Fognini. Every other matchup is very lopsided in odds, so we would have to see a big upset outside of this match. I like Delbonis at +145, because both players are very talented and either one could win this match. I’m strictly taking Debonis because of the favored odds here.

Kei Nishikori vs. Henri Laaksonen Prediction

Nishikori is a pretty big favorite in this one against Henri Laaksonen. I don’t mind the lopsided odds, because I think Nishikori has no issue coming away with a win here. If you want to dwindle the odds a bit in your favorite, you can bet Nishikori to win in straight sets here because I think there is a decent chance of that happening. Kei outranks Henri by 101 spots (49 vs 150). Nishikor is in great form going into Friday, winning 4 out of his last 5 matches.

Katerina Siniakova vs.Tamara Zidansek Prediction

Katerina Siniakova @ +110

Siniakova is a slight underdog in her matchup against Tamara Zidansek on Day 6. I like getting the odds in our favor here with Siniakova due to the fact that she is ranked better than Zidansek and she is in excellent form. Siniakova has won 5 out of her last 6 matches, and has an excellent chance at moving on in this tournament on Friday.

Daria Kasatkina vs. Sorana Cirstea Prediction

Daria Kasatkina @ -175

The women’s side of things have a few more close matchups to pick from than the men’s do on Friday. I like Kasatkina as a favorite against Sorana Cirstea here. Kasatkina is ranked better than Cirstea on the WTA rankings list and has a win against her in her career in the lone matchup they have had. Kasatkina has a good chance at winning in straight sets 2-0 in this one.
