Jiri Vesely meets Federico Delbonis on the Croatian clay tomorrow. Vesely's health is a question mark but I believe he will be ready to go. These two players have met four times in their careers and the latest was a wash, when Vesely retired in Brazil in the second set. But the three previous matches all went the three-set distance, with Vesely taking two out of three on the clay courts. Vesely will be transitioning from grass to clay, which is always difficult, but I think he should adjust well.

His opponent, Delbonis, isn't in the greatest form and is currently 3-3 in his last six clay matches. He really hasn't found his groove yet but did look competitive against Dominic Thiem in his last match. I am really not sure who wins this match but I would give the slight lean to Vesely. However, there are too many unknowns with him right now to bet outright. I do feel more confident with the total, as this match has a three-setter written all over it. We should see both of these guys steal sets from each other tomorrow so I will be locking in the Over 22. They are very capable of a tie break as well so this should be an easy cash for us.
