Sophia Kenin comes into this match today after winning two matches in Cleveland where she played really well and was hitting the ball well. Her opponent is Jule Niemeier, the German. She has only played one hardcourt match in the last three months in which she lost. She will definitely come into this match rusty, while Kenin herself has been playing in a lot of tournaments to get her groove back.

Sophia Kenin has always played well on her home turf too. She has won at least two matches every year she has played at the US Open. This match is a very winnable match for her also.
