Caroline Garcia has probably been the hottest player on the WTA tour over the last 2 months. She has won 2 tournaments and won the last 13 out of 14 matches. She has also dominated her first two opponents in the US Open. Now this will be by far her toughest test of the tournament when she faces off with former 2019 US Open champion Bianca Andreescu.
Andreescu has played pretty well for the most part of this tournament. She had 3 set matches to start the tournament then a good battle with Haddad Maia in the 2nd round.

Caroline Garcia vs. Bianca Andreescu Prediction
Garcia has been executing at a high form of late. She is getting her first serve in and capitalizing on her opponent's second serve. Andreescu in the second round struggled with getting her first serve in but Haddad Maia really couldn't capitalize on it. In this match, I like Garcia a lot. I feel she will frustrate Andreescu a lot in this one. Bianca has had problems over the years staying in the match mentally and she has also been horrible at coming from behind when she loses. I feel Garcia's first serve and return game will frustrate Andreescu in this matchup.
These two have only played once before and Garcia won a 3-set match in June on Clay surface. Hardcourt service has been the best surface for Garcia this year She is 17-5 this year on hard court. Over the past two months, she was 10-1 on this surface. This game could start close but I believe that Caroline Garcia will make Andreescu pay on her serve and that will frustrate Bianca to the point she starts playing very erratic. Look for Caroline to build a lead on Andreescu then cruise away with this match.
