Parrizas Diaz has had a very up-and-down 2022 season. She has played some very good tennis and some very bad tennis. She has shown her most success on hard courts though. She is back on a surface that she has played well on and does well on. She takes on Harriet Dart who has been one of the most inconsistent women on tour this season. Dart has a lot of potential but she is so inconsistent and has been playing some bad tennis recently. It honestly looks like she focusing more on doubles right now and not singles. Parrizas Diaz can be a hard player to get a read on but in this spot I really like her.

Parrizas Diaz's style of play is grinding it out style. She will give up some points but will always battle to the end. Dart on the other hand when she gets down she completely loses herself and it could go really bad for her. Dart weapon is her serve and it has been very bad recently. She has had multiple 8+ double-fault matches recently. She really can’t get her serve in at all. That’s a bad sign when playing someone like Parrizas Diaz. She will take full advantage of the second serve and the mistakes that Dart does. One thing about Parrizas Diaz is her game is not pretty but she will always battle and when it’s two even players she usually comes out ahead. I don’t bet her often but when I do I have really full confidence in her to win.

This matchup will be a battle of two girls who have been playing below-level tennis recently. But in reality, Parrizas Diaz is the better player recently. She has the game that will really frustrate Dart. Dart isn’t a player that will try for the long rallies. She wants to win the point early and that will be hard to do against someone like Parrizas Diaz who moves well on the court. Also, the big reason I like Parrizas Diaz in this matchup is cause Dart will miss a lot on her big serve. It’s been so inconsistent lately and that’s why Diaz is the better player here.
