NFC East Odds: Eagles 3 Times More Likely To Win NFC East Than The Cowboys

Despite being 2-4-1, the Eagles are the heavy favorites to win the division

The odds of the Philadelphia Eagles to win the NFC East are now over three times better than nearest challengers Dallas Cowboys, despite the former having a poor 2-4-1 record.

The quality of the division has been well documented this year, and as the graphic below shows the oddsmakers’ have been constantly changing their minds about who is the most likely winner.

However, after the Eagles one-point win over the Giants in Week 7, Philadelphia’s odds of taking the NFC East are now -139, the best they’ve been all season. Put simply, this means that the sportsbooks currently believe theres a 58.16% probability of it happening.

The Cowboys have slipped to +400, which carries a 20% implied chance, while Washington are narrowly in third with odds of +900 suggesting a 10% chance.

New York Giants currently prop up the division with their odds of +1500 indicating a 6.25% chance.
