JT Miller, the former Ranger now Canuck, is likely to be traded before the deadline. I am sure he is hoping it's before his birthday a week before the deadline so he can party in his new town. What better town than to be traded back to New York?
Other than JT Miller their next leading scorer is Quinn Hughes with 41 points but only four goals which is rare to only have four goals and 41 points. The point of that is if you stop JT Miller and his line you should beat the Canucks.
We know this and so do the Rangers because in their previous meeting guess what happened? That's right JT Miller had 2 goals including the overtime winner and of course, the assist was from Quinn Hughes.
The Canucks had 11 more shots than the Rangers that game which is rare for a team that is averaging only 2.7 goals a game which is in the bottom 10 of the league. The Rangers have two amazing goalies if Igor Shesterkin plays as listed or Alexandar Georgiev we feel it doesn't matter as both have been great, especially at home and the Rangers win with defense and goaltending.

They are number as we said in goals allowed and they have gone under five in a row and 7-1 last eight and let's not forget who is the best home team in the NHL as they are 17-4-1 at home where Shesterkin gives up less than two goals a game (1.95).
In the last three games they have given up three goals and no one has scored more than three in the last eight games off of them. The Rangers will win this game because of defense, goaltending and they will fix their power play because they are the fourth-best in the league.
