The Serbian midfielder has reportedly told Lazio teammates he is leaving the club.
Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is now odds-on to move to Manchester United, cut from 11/8 to as short as 4/9.
The highly-rated Serbian midfielder has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for months. Some bookies are now implying a 69.2% chance the transfer finally goes ahead.
In the past week, 59% of bets on the 24-year-old’s next destination have gone on Manchester United.
Whether or not Milinkovic-Savic’s arrival would trigger Paul Pogba’s exit remains to be seen, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks likely to add to his midfield regardless.
Inter Milan are second in the market to sign the 24-year-old, priced at 7/2. There’s some discord between bookmakers over PSG’s chances of capturing his signature, with odds of both 11/4 and 6/1.
