As a result, 86% of bets in the last seven days have gone on the highly-rated defender heading to the Emirates before the transfer window closes on Thursday.
The 25-year-old has often been overlooked as Gerard Pique’s first-choice partner at the back in favour of Clement Lenglet.
This has led to a number of outlets reporting on a potential move away for the France international, should he be deemed surplus to requirements by Ernesto Valverde.
Arsenal will be desperate to sign a centre back before the window slams shut. The north London club were frail at the back last season with many pointing the finger at Shkodran Mustafi and Laurent Koscielny, who has since been linked with a move away.
Elsewhere in the market, PSG are second favourites to sign Umtiti at 7/2. Spurs are outsiders at 16/1.
