However, on this occasion he faces a high-class rival in Peter Chapple-Hyam's DEJA, who won impressively over 1m4f on his sole outing of 2019 in July and the best could yet to come from the Youmzain colt, who cost 350,000 guineas as a two-year-old. Spanish Archer has the experience to play a part, while Francis Xavier posted two solid efforts in September and can't be ignored on his return.

GALSWORTHY wasn't beaten far when second on his debut over 7f at Newmarket last month and John Gosden's Dansili colt could appreciate this step up in trip looking to open his account at the second attempt. Waleydd looks another set to thrive up in distance following a promising first outing over 1m at Newbury, while Godolphin's $1,300,000 buy Sun Cuisine showed a liking for the all-weather when third at Chelmsford in the summer.

RAJINSKY's Windsor success 31 days ago can be upgraded given that it came after a 13-month absence and the Zoffany gelding is fancied to build on that excellent return for Tom Dascombe. Still only three, he is unexposed compared to most of these, and appeals more than Arabic Culture, who is consistent but might not appreciate this drop in distance. Hat-trick seeking Home Before Dusk likes it here and won't go down without a fight.

HARRY'S BAR lost little in defeat when second to the 99-rated Royal Birth in a conditions contest over 6f at Chelmsford last time and he is expected to step up on that effort now returned to handicap company off the same mark. Watchable usually gives it his best shot on the front end and could go well for a long way, though bigger dangers may be Red Impression, who sports a first-time tongue-tie, and Jumira Bridge, who won off this mark on turf in July.

BAILEYS BLUES took a step in the right direction when going down by half a length into second over 6f at Yarmouth last time and he wouldn't need to find a great deal of improvement in order to strike at the third attempt. Felicia Blue kept on well when scoring at Catterick in October and is the one expected to put up most resistance, while Agent Shiftwell and Daily Times could also take a hand.
