ADJOURNED has winning bumper form in the book and was far from disgraced when second over timber at Stratford on his hurdles bow. The experience gained that day is unlikely to have been lost on him and he's expected to find the improvement needed to go one better. Financial Conduct could improve for the fitting of a first-time tongue-tie, while it is possible there is more to come from Starsky on his second run following wind surgery.
Prediction : 1st Adjourned 2nd Financial Conduct 3rd Starsky

PERFECT PREDATOR improved with every outing in bumpers and if he does the same over timber, building on a solid introduction over this trip at Hereford earlier in the month, he will go close. Point-to-point winner Evander shaped encouragingly on his first start for Oliver Greenall at Ludlow and is feared most, though any money for returning pair Logan Rocks and Soyouthinksoagain would also be worth noting.
Prediction : 1st Perfect Predator 2nd Evander 3rd Logan Rocks

DON JUAN DU GOUET followed up his easy win over a similar trip at Stratford with victory over the extended 2m2f at Exeter and rates the one to beat as he arrives here on a hat-trick. Ashutor is worth monitoring in the betting market on his seasonal return and first start since undergoing wind surgery, while the consistent Haafapiece commands respect and Lightly Squeeze should be thereabouts if building on his Warwick second earlier this month.
Prediction : 1st Don Juan Du Gouet 2nd Ashutor 3rd Haafapiece

MOMELLA has somewhat lost her way over the last 12 months but if rediscovering anything near her best form, she should be much too strong for the opposition on her first chase outing against her own sex. The consistent Queen's Magic has scored twice over timber this autumn and could at least be competitive on her fencing debut, while Grania O'Malley made a pleasing reappearance at Uttoxeter and has plenty of experience of the larger obstacles on her side.
Prediction : 1st Momella 2nd Queens Magic 3rd Grania OMalley

JABOTICABA has occupied the runner-up berth on both previous chase starts, despite looking a little unfortunate. He threw away his chance at Warwick with a final-fence blunder and then got the last wrong again at Southwell, although the winner probably had his measure. He has been given time off for Alan King to iron out any jumping issues and remains a bright prospect. Nobel Leader also has his best days ahead of him and emerged with credit, despite failing to complete a hat-trick, at Fakenham in the spring. First Figaro, Hes No Trouble and Volt Face can play a part too.
Prediction : 1st Jaboticaba 2nd Nobel Leader 3rd First Figaro

Peter's Portrait stayed on well to reach the frame on his handicap debut over C&D but the form is nothing special, whereas Silent Encore chased home a subsequent winner in the other division of the same contest, although he was beaten a long way. NORTH STAR OSCAR couldn't justify favouritism when attempting to supplement a Worcester success at Wetherby, but he did himself no favours with a mistake two out and is worth another chance.
Prediction : 1st North Star Oscar 2nd Silent Encore 3rd Peters Portrait

Olly Murphy snapped up Presence Of Mind for 70,000 pounds after he struck between the flags back in March but he had to settle for second on his first start for the stable in a Fakenham bumper and may have to do so again, this time behind FAIVOIR. Dan Skelton's charge cost slightly less than his rival but he looked the part when winning an Irish point-to-point. Dirty Diana has quite a speedy Flat pedigree so could be the one to benefit should things turn tactical.
Prediction : 1st Faivoir 2nd Presence Of Mind 3rd Dirty Diana
