Tidal Flow and Darlac are others with valid form claims, while any market support for Chooseyourweapon on his return from a 612-day break would have to be noted.

ROSSERK ABBEY has hit the crossbar in both starts since winning here in October and there is every chance that the six-year-old will return to winning ways in this moderate contest. Cushuish arguably put in a career best last time out and she should not be discounted today, despite being a 12-race maiden. Others to consider are Telson Barley, Airton and Court Affairs.

LE BOIZELO ran a big race over C&D when third earlier this month, stepping up on his reappearance effort, and that performance can probably be upgraded given that his rider dropped his stick in the closing stages. A 2lb rise isn't bad, all things considered, and the eight-year-old has been located a suitable opening. Garrane showed some nice bits of form last season, including twice here, and is expected to have come on plenty for his Cheltenham reappearance. Copperhead can prove best of the remainder.

JUST DON'T ASK shaped with great encouragement on his reappearance at Wetherby three weeks ago when attempting to make all before falling down to third, and should be all the better with that run under his belt. This slight drop in trip is also expected to suit Charlie Longsdon's charge, and he can capitalise back under regular pilot Brian Hughes. Espoir De Guye showed promise when second at Chepstow earlier this month but might want further, while Awake At Midnight was progressive last season and could enjoy a fruitful campaign.

DELFACE now finds himself rated 1lb lower than his last victory and David Pipe's six-year-old, who was third when sent off favourite at Ffos Las most recently, could be the answer with handy amateur Fergus Gillard able to claim 7lb. Get Wishing put in some encouraging performances in the spring and makes appeal following wind surgery. Drewmain Legend wasn't beaten far when second at Chepstow earlier this month, and is just 2lb higher now.

TWO SAMS took advantage of a lowly mark on his debut for the Jeremy Scott yard at Plumpton and should have no problem with the extra distance. He can follow up at the chief expense of Tis Fantastic, who wasn't beaten far into second on his first run in a handicap and Jonjo O'Neill jr's presence in the saddle catches the eye. Course winner Foxy Act and the reappearing Avithos are others who could get involved.
