She was a close third at Sligo on Sunday last and it'll come as no surprise if she manages to go a few places better here. Family Business disappointed at Bellewstown recently but is better than that and can make an impact, while Highstreet Roller and Reine Machine (first time cheekpieces) are others for the shortlist.

The 143 rated Lord Royal is the standout name but is difficult to fancy with any great confidence. A beaten favourite four times since impressing on his Irish debut at Clonmel in January of 2020, the grey gelding pulled up on his most recent starts at Leopardstown and Punchestown respectively. Gordon Elliott saddles The Greek and Don Diablo, with Jack Kennedy opting to partner the latter. He was fourth at Wexford earlier this month, all of 20 lengths behind SERENITY GROVE in third. That Henry de Bromhead trained six-year-old re-opposes now and is the selection. An easy winner at Downpatrick last September, he has been a bit disappointing since. His effort at Bettyville was however a step in the right direction and he might be able to build on that performance, fitted with a tongue-strap for the first time. The versatile Act Of God fell on his debut over fences at Kilbeggan, but with a clear round of jumping he is capable of making an impact. Vinnie Is Busy (first time cheekpieces) is another that warrants respect.

A difficult contest to assess, with recent winners A Mere Bagatelle and REBELLIOUS GALE both starting off over fences. The Tony Martin trained latter ran well on his penultimate start at Kilbeggan, since making the breakthrough at Limerick, comfortably accounting for 17 rivals. The lightly raced six-year-old looks capable of further progress and it'll be disappointing if he is not involved towards the business end. A Mere Bagatelle was a winner at Cartmel last month and is sure to have plenty of supporters in his bid to follow-up. Zalinka has some decent efforts to her name and can make her presence felt, while others to consider are handicap debutant Mullins Cross (first time cheekpieces), top-weight General Clermont and three-time winner Bilbo Bagins, who was second at Limerick on his penultimate start.

MICA MALPIC can make amends for a mishap at Wexford last month. The Enda Bolger trained chestnut was a comfortable winner at Limerick on his penultimate start, unseating at the last when set to score at Bettyville. The French bred gelding has turned a corner since stepping up in trip and considering he is only a five-year-old, is open to a lot more improvement. Malina Girl has two wins to her name from 11 starts and is given second preference. She ran well to finish second on her handicap debut at Tramore early last month and it'll come as little surprise if she manages to go one place better now. Recent Wexford winner Secret Cargo is sure to have plenty of supporters with capable claimer Niall Moore aboard. Avec Espoir won this race 12 months ago and warrants respect, while I'm Not Alone, Brandy Harbour and handicap debutant Leac An Scail Lady are others to consider.

An interesting contest with the hat-trick seeking L'IMPERTINENT taken to follow-up on his Ballinrobe wins. The French-bred gelding done well to beat some smart performers on his debut over fences at the Co Mayo venue, with the 125 rated Jacksons Gold and subsequent dual-winner Lyreen Legend both in behind. Upping The Anti appears the main danger. He came home 19 lengths to the good on his racecourse debut over fences at Kilbeggan in May and he is sure to give the selection plenty to think about. Say It Ain't So sprang a 40/1 surprise when easily accounting for 12 rivals at Clonmel in April. The Ray Hackett trained seven-year-old is an interesting contender here with Tommy Brett again claiming a valuable 7lb. Ferdia is a consistent sort and can't be dismissed, while the Gordon Elliott trained Mr Caplan also warrants respect.

Henry de Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore have done well at this all-chase card in recent years and they might be able to strike with CORNERKOVA. Successful on her second start over fences at Clonmel last month, de Bromhead said in the aftermath: "Rachael was delighted with her in Limerick and felt she'd be way better over fences than what she had done over hurdles.". Top-weight Fancy Foundations pulled up in a competitive Grade A contest at the Punchestown Festival on his last start over fences and he should appreciate this drop-in class. Optical Confusion, Fest Deiz and Weihnachts were second, fourth and fifth behind Bold Emperor at Wexford earlier this month, with just over four lengths between them. Fest Deiz is tried in blinkers for the first time now and with a course win to his name, he should give a good account of himself.

The seven-year-old sprang a 40/1 surprise for Tim and Jody Townend at Thurles in March, easily following-up on his next start at Limerick. He makes his racecourse debut over fences now and with Paul Townend in the saddle he should prove hard to beat. Hascoeur Clermont was a good winner at Bellewstown recently, landing a gamble in the process. He too makes his racecourse debut over fences and should give a good account of himself. Mutual Respect was a close-up third at Tramore last month and has definite claims, while others for the shortlist are Frontier General, Famous Escape and Wild Caprice.
