2022 NFL Draft Odds: Oddsmakers' Mini-Mock Draft
We’re less than a month away from the NFL Draft. That means we’re getting to the point of the offseason when rumors become more concrete. One way to sort out all of the noise is to look through the odds, as oddsmakers tend to have a good idea of what’s true and what’s just conjecture. With that in mind, here’s a look at the top-10 picks in the NFL Draft according to the odds.

If the Jaguars go a different way it will almost certainly be Georgia EDGE Travon Walker. Walker is given +325 odds, or an implied 23.5% chance to be the pick. No other player is given at least a 10% chance.

Oddsmakers aren’t willing to dismiss the idea of Oregon EDGE Kayvon Thibodeaux or Notre Dame Safety Kyle Hamilton. Thibodeaux is given +450 odds, or an 18.2% chance, while Hamilton is given +600 odds, or an implied 14.3% chance to be the pick.

3. Houston Texans – Ikem Ekwonu, OT, North Carolina State
With the top two pass rushers off the board, oddsmakers expect this pick to be an offensive tackle. Ikem Ekwonu gets the slight edge with +200 odds. He’s also given -140 odds, or an implied 58.3% chance to be the first offensive lineman selected.
Oddsmakers aren’t dismissing the chances of Evan Neal though. The Alabama OT is given +250 odds, or an implied 28.6% chance to be selected third overall. Kyle Hamilton is also in play again with +400 odds, or an implied 20% chance to be the pick.

Evan Neal | +250 | 28.6% |
Kyle Hamilton | +400 | 20% |
4. New York Jets – Kayvon Thibodeaux, EDGE, Oregon
Defense is the name of the game here for the Jets. Oddsmakers have three defensive players at the top of the odds market for this pick. Kayvon Thibodeaux leads the way with +200 odds, making him a strong favorite here.
Florida State’s Jermaine Johnson comes into play for the first time with this pick at +400 odds. The same is true of Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner at +450.

Jermaine Johnson | +400 | 20% |

5. New York Giants – Evan Neal, OT, Alabama
After the first four picks, oddsmakers no longer offer specific selection odds. However, Evan Neal feels like a lock at this point. Oddsmakers set his over/under at pick 3.5, giving him -175 odds, or an implied 63.6% chance to go over. No other player is expected to go top-5. So, the Giants get Neal.

7. New York Giants – Sauce Gardner, CB, Cincinnati
Just like with Neal, Sauce Gardner is the obvious pick here for oddsmakers. Gardner’s over/under is set at 7.5, and oddsmakers give him -175 odds to go under. That puts him right in the path of the Giants at 7. Especially since no other player is expected to be a top-7 draft pick.

8. Atlanta Falcons – Jermaine Johnson, EDGE, Florida State
This was a tough one. Oddsmakers don’t believe that either Charles Cross or Kyle Hamilton will be in play at this pick. Both have their over/under set at 8.5, and both are expected to hit the over. That Jermaine Johnson as the only other player in the draft with an over/under in the top-10. His over/under is set at pick 9.5 and he’s given -150 odds, or an implied 60% chance to hit the under.

9. Seattle Seahawks – Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State
This pick is made for Seattle by this point. With the top pass rushers and quarterbacks off the board, the only players left that the oddsmakers believe make sense are Charles Cross or Kyle Hamilton.
Cross gets the nod here, as his odds to go higher are better. Oddsmakers were split nearly evenly on if he would go over or under pick 8.5. He was given -125 odds to go over and -115 odds to go under. So he makes sense to slot in at 9.
