Novak Djokovic French Open Record
It’s actually a little shocking to see Novak Djokovic’s French Open record in the past. He is one of the best tennis players in the history of the sport but only has one French Open title. Djokovic’s one French Open came in 2016.
Since 2016, Djokovic has come close to more titles at Roland-Garros but hasn’t been able to win. He made the Quarterfinals in both 2017 and 2018. Then a semifinal appearance in 2019 and final appearance in 2020. But, he hasn’t been able to get over the hump outside of 2016, largely due to Rafael Nadal’s dominance.
French Open 2021: Novak Djokovic Preview
If you’re looking for a player to bet other than Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic is as good of an option as any. The issue is I’m not sure anyone outside of Nadal is worth betting. I think, if you’re going to lay a bet on someone that isn’t Nadal, you’re better off looking for a player that has a much longer price than +500.
Someone that may be of interest is Dominic Thiem. Thiem won the 2020 US Open and made the finals of the 2020 Australian Open and 2019 French Open.
