Earlier in his term as President of the United States, Donald Trump became the third POTUS to ever be impeached, joining Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. Now, with just 11 days left before he hands the office over to President-elect Joe Biden, President Trump may be staring more political history in the face. As of Friday, UK betting markets have President Donald Trump’s odds of being impeached for a second time at -556, implying an 84.8% chance he is impeached again.
Donald Trump's Impeachment Odds Slashed by UK Oddsmakers
President Trump would be the first United States President ever to be impeached twice, adding to an impressively long list of failures in the past four years. Up until this week, Trump being impeached for a second time seemed highly unlikely.
Then, on January 6, the President of the United States spoke to a large crowd of supporters and encouraged them to walk down to the US Capitol, where those supporters proceeded to storm the building. One Trump supporter was shot to death during the events, and in the end there were five deaths in total, including a member of the US Capitol Police Force.
The events that unfolded were one of the biggest black eyes on the USA in the last 40 years. As a result of President Trump’s perceived implication in the events, political leaders from both sides of the isle have been calling for him to be removed from office, via either the 25th Amendment of the US Constitution or impeachment.
As early as yesterday, Trump was more likely to not be impeached with odds of -345. But, as more members from both parties continue to speak out against the President, UK oddsmakers are almost certain he’ll be impeached for a second time.

Donald Trump Likely To Still Finish Term
Despite the incredibly short odds that he’ll be impeached for a 2nd time, UK oddsmakers don’t believe he’ll be removed from office before his term as President is over. None of the three Presidents to be impeached were ever convicted of a crime while in office, and it doesn’t look like Trump will add it to his list of firsts.
As of Friday, UK oddsmakers have Trump's odds to complete his term at -667, implying an 87% chance he finishes it out. His odds of being removed as President of the United States sit at +620
