The NBA is back tonight and to show our appreciation we should bet the games. It's legit the least we can do at this point. It's not that yesterday was hard because we still had hockey and baseball but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the NBA. There was definitely a void. But that's all behind us now as we can all safely move on to the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers tonight at 7:00pm ET on ESPN. Joel Embiid might play which is huge so we need to just gamble through it like we always do. It's just how we roll. Lucky for us, I found the perfect play to take advantage of the fact that basketball, as well as Joel Embiid, is back. I love this life.

This one is hanging at FanDuel as we speak. Alt lines are a gift from God and I don't see why other books don't have them. They should be viewed as staples, not gimmicks. I'm going to tell you a little bit about James Harden. The man is a facilitator at this point. He cares about other people. He reminds me of A-Wax in the movie Menace to Society. He's been doing dirt for so long that he just likes to see other guys do dirt now. By "do dirt" I mean scoring. Class moves by him. Unselfish guy now.

The thing about Harden is he'll scare you. The guy dropped 16 points in the first half of the last game and still only scored 20 for the night. He let the other guys get into the action and now Joel Embiid is back. Even with a mask on that he probably can barely see out of and a concussion, he will still take 20+ shots tonight. That's just how Joel Embiid works. Everyone knows that.

Now I know we don't want to take an under but we kind of have to here. Look at Harden's game logs. Even with Embiid out he was barely clearing 20 points. We're talking while he was on the floor 40+ minutes. He's just not taking the shots anymore. What I say we do is root for every assist he makes so that way it feels like we have an over but we really are just under betting scumbags (just for this game).
