Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics Game 4 Prediction
The Milwaukee Bucks won an exciting Game 3 against the Boston Celtics, winning 103-101 on a missed shot by Robert Williams in the final seconds off a missed foul shot.
The Celtics shot the ball extremely well in Game 2 but ultimately went on the road and struggled to shoot the ball. Boston hit just 27.3% from three and 36.8% from the field but still found themselves in the game throughout. The Celtics earned 34 trips to the foul line in comparison to Milwaukee’s 17 foul shot attempts and that allowed Boston in the game, as both teams shot 82.4% from the line.
The Bucks won the rebounding battle by six but the Bucks ultimately dominated inside, scoring 52 points in the paint. The Bucks went away from the three-point shot in Game 2 but still shot 34 attempts in Game 3, at home. They only hit nine threes but had more success inside thanks to Giannis Antetokounmpo who added 42 points on 30 field goal attempts.
Meanwhile, Boston’s star, Jayson Tatum shot just 4-for-19 on the road and scored 10 points. Jaylen Brown contributed with 27 points and 12 rebounds while Al Horford had his best game of the playoffs where he added 22 points and 16 rebounds along with five assists.
But off the bench, Grant Williams shot 2-for-9 and Payton Prichard only took three shots and missed all three in 11 minutes. The Celtics didn’t shoot well but were aggressive enough and got freebies from the line.
Milwaukee’s Antetokounmpo got help from Jrue Holiday who added 25 points on 30 shot attempts. He wasn’t all that effective but was good enough to help keep some pressure off Giannis’ shoulders.
If the Celtics remain consistent and try to contain Antetokounmpo a little bit better as they did in Game 2, Boston could absolutely regain home-court advantage on Monday. The Celtics are playing more together while Antetokounmpo continues to play bully ball. Eventually, he’s going to foul out or take some bad shots for the Bucks and shoot them out of the game as he did in Game 2. So let’s take the Celtics to even up the series at two.
