The Boston Celtics used a late fourth-quarter push to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks, on the road, in Game 5, 116-108. The Celtics had an unlikely contributor with Al Horford scoring 30 points in the win. With that win on the road, the Celtics are now tied with the Bucks 2-2 in the Eastern Semifinals and have two of the remaining three games at home, if necessary. The Celtics are now the favorites to win the East Semifinals matchup against the Bucks. Milwaukee stole Game 1 from the Celtics to start the series but a massive come-from-behind win in Game 4 has now pushed the Celtics to be the favorites in the series. Boston shot 50% from the field in Game 4 and nailed 37.8% of foul shots. The Celtics also hit 90% of foul shots and held the Bucks to 41.5% from the field. The Bucks ultimately were the better team in every regard but shooting percentage. The Celtics got hot in the fourth quarter while the Bucks slowed down. Milwaukee earned 13 offensive rebounds and held Boston to just four offensive rebounds. The Bucks also forced three more turnovers and took seven more foul shots while also taking 10 more shot attempts. But, again, Boston shot lights out from the field, nailing 50% of shots and 90% from the foul line on 20 attempts. In Milwaukee, someone outside of Giannis Antetokounmpo needs to step up. Antetokounmpo had 34 points with 18 rebounds and five assists. However, the next best contributor was Jrue Holiday, who shot 5-of-22 from the field. Boston has been getting better minutes from its bench between Derrick White and Payton Pritchard. With Marcus Smart healthy, the Celtics are a real threat. Robert Williams could also be back for Game 5, which would only help the rebounding situation. It would also help defend Giannis. In Game 2, at home, the Celtics had a really good plan to contain Giannis. He was brutal in the first half of that game and then ultimately forced a whole bunch of shots in the second half with the massive differential with the score in the game. At home, I'll ride Boston. They've been more consistent as a unit.
