NBA player props expert John Hyslop is here with his player prop pick for Thursday night's Game 6 between the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers. He has his eyes on Danny Green.

Philadelphia 76ers vs Miami Heat Player Prop: Can Danny Green Get Hot From 3 in Game 6?

The Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat get it on tonight in Game 6 of their playoff series. The first thing I think about when I read a sentence like that is gambling. Like I need to bet this game. I'm not letting these guys play for nothing. It's just not my style. Now betting on this series has not been easy so far. In fact, it's been the opposite of easy. Players are sitting games out, and then they're back in, it's been crazy. But, I sat down today and crunched numbers as they've never been crunched before. I went through people's game logs, looked at their college stats, and even checked out the competition level these guys were playing in high school. I know everything there is to know about this game at this point. Maybe even more. It's all led me to this one play. Here is my player prop pick, prediction, and the odds for Thursday's game between the Miami Heat and the Philadelphia 76ers.

Philadelphia 76ers vs Miami Heat Player Prop Pick

Danny Green Over 2.5 Made Threes (+135) (Bet $100 to win $135)

Philadelphia 76ers vs Miami Heat Prediction

I'm at Barstool here because they have a great price on this. We've got choices though because DraftKings has the same number and price. You can get 2.5 for +130 at BetMGM which isn't bad but it's not +135 (math). FanDuel is trying the 3+ route while not listing him with the other guys in the Made Threes Market. They are only offering +120 on 3+ so only play there if you have to.

Let me tell you a little something about Danny Green. He's pretty much me when it comes to playing basketball. He just kind of hangs out by the three-point line and waits for people to pass him the ball. Once he gets the ball, he shoots immediately. The only difference is he makes his shots. I don't. Whatever.

They say home is where the heart is and I think Green has that stitched on at least one pillow in his home. Why? Because he's lights out from behind the three-point line in Philly. In his last four playoff games at the Wells Fargo Center, the guy has hit at least three threes in all of them. He hit seven in one game. The guy is on the floor to shoot threes. That's what he does.

Now the haters are going to say that he only took four three-pointers the last time they played in Philly. They are right. But you have to remember that James Harden took 10 because he was on fire. I doubt that happens again tonight. My guess is he takes a couple early and if even one goes in during the first quarter, we can expect to see Green hoist up at least nine long-range attempts like he's done in three of his last four games in Philly. This is a good bet.
