Fantasy Football Week 7: Streamers, Sleepers, and Waiver Wire Adds

Streamers are players you can plug and play each week to fill a void in your fantasy football lineups. These players are rostered in a low percentage of leagues and should be available for you to pick up.

I will focus on the best player at each position every week who are rostered in under 50% of leagues. Typically, these will be guys you won’t want to drop too much of your free-agent acquisition budget (FAAB) on as they will be mostly short-term solutions.

The hope is that the players listed below will perform well enough to make up for any starters you may have to sit due to injury, suspension, or bye weeks. Maybe they even become viable starters for your fantasy teams going forward.

Quarterback

Tua Tagovailoa (vs Atlanta Falcons)

Tua Tagovailoa missed the last 3 weeks with fractured ribs. He came back with a vengeance in Week 6. Not only did he have to come over his mental hurdle of returning from injury, but he had to return in a game played in London, England.

Tua had a great game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, throwing for 329 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, and a pick. He also ran 3 times for 22 yards.

He’ll have a great fantasy matchup in Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons who have given up the 5th most fantasy points to quarterbacks. I’d expect Tua to feed off his momentum from Week 6 and throw over 40 times to keep up with Matt Ryan and the Falcons offense.

Suggested FAAB: 14%

Additional Week 7 QB Streamer to Consider

  • Jameis Winston, New Orleans Saints (@ Seattle Seahawks) - FAAB: 8%

Running Back

Mark Ingram (@ Arizona Cardinals)

The options for available running backs are slim. Mark Ingram is rostered in just 32% of fantasy leagues. He has been getting decent volume in recent weeks. Ingram has 34 carries for 114 rushing yards in his last two games.

He just had his best game since Week 1 against a very good run defense. The Arizona Cardinals will be a tough matchup as well, but it appears the Texans still feed Mark Ingram regardless of game script.

I can see Ingram getting a lot of garbage time yards in this game. This is not something I would typically expect, but the Texans just gave Ingram 18 carries in a game they lost 31-3.

Suggested FAAB: 10%

Additional Week 7 RB Streamer to Consider

  • J.D. McKissic (@ Green Bay Packers) - FAAB: 10%

Wide Receiver

T.Y. Hilton (@ San Francisco 49ers)

You might have expected a limited role from T.Y. Hilton in his first week back since his neck surgery. If what we saw in Week 6 was limited, I can’t wait for him to unleash in this offense.

Carson Wentz has been playing very well and now has a veteran deep threat to target going forward. He wasted no time testing Hilton’s health when he completed a 52-yard pass to him against the Houston Texans.

Hilton caught all 4 of his targets for 80 yards. A very good showing in his 2021 debut. You can feel confident that T.Y. Hilton will continue to see increased opportunities in Week 7 and beyond.

Suggested FAAB: 18%

Additional Week 7 WR Streamer to Consider

  • Mecole Hardman (@ Tennessee Titans) – FAAB: 5%

Tight End

Ricky Seals-Jones (@ Green Bay Packers)

The options at tight end are even slimmer than running back. Ricky Seals-Jones has received decent volume in the last 2 weeks. He’s totaled 9 catches on 15 targets for 99 yards and a touchdown.

The Green Bay Packers have given up the 13th most fantasy points to the tight end position this season. Logan Thomas will miss Week 7, leaving Ricky Seals-Jones as Taylor Heinicke’s #2 target behind Terry McLaurin.

Suggested FAAB: 5%

Additional Week 7 TE Streamer to Consider

  • Cole Kmet (@ Tampa Bay Buccaneers) - FAAB: 2%
