Back in the day, happiness was defined as having something to look forward to (probably). I'm not sure how it's defined now but nobody can really tell you what it is, they can only tell you what it feels like. The point I'm trying to make is, I feel about as happy as I've ever been at any point in my life right now. Why? Because I bet a plus-money banger (responsibly) for Thursday night that has no chance of losing (as of the time of writing). The only possible way to make the Washington Commanders and Chicago Bears bearable to watch is by gambling (responsibly). We all know that. Games like this aren't always easy to bet (responsibly) though so having a fire ticket in your pocket changes everything. I'm not looking for credit here, but I think I figured out the key to happiness. Gambling (responsibly).

Bears vs. Commanders Prediction

Darnell Mooney 50+ Receiving Yards (+118) (Bet $100 to win $118)

*Odds Available at FanDuel (Responsibly)*

We're at FanDuel for this one (responsibly) since they have ladders. Why do we need ladders? Because we're going to the moon. We can make 50+ the first rung but there's nothing stopping us from 60+ (+164), 70+ (+255), 80+ (+360) or even 90+ (+550) (responsibly). If you have to play at DraftKings, I'd wait until tomorrow on this (responsibly). They've been posting alt lines so maybe we get one on Mooney. Right now all we can bet is Mooney Over 42.5 (-115) which is way too easy.

I know what the haters are going to say, the Chicago Bears' offense sucks. They are going to say Mooney sucks, Justin Fields sucks and the entire organization since 1985 sucks. That's just how haters operate. They say mean things that I would never say because I'm not a hater. Sure Justin Fields has only thrown 88 passes in five games this season which is dumb because the NFL is a passing league but I'm sure there is a plan. There has to be.

The thing people are missing is if and when the Bears throw the ball, it's going to Mooney (probably). The guy has a 24.7% target rate. He literally runs a route on every pass play. He's around. Fields just has to find him. The good news is, Fields only has two games this season where he broke the 20+ pass attempt barrier and they were his last two games played. Sure, last game they were getting their asses kicked so their hand was forced but the week before wasn't like that. In both games Mooney went over 50 receiving yards.

Against the Commanders, Mooney could be in a spot to get wild again (responsibly). For starters, Washington is actually decent against the run. If they have success Thursday night, the Bears may be forced into throwing more than they want to (responsibly). That would be a good thing since only three teams in the NFL have given up more receiving yards to the wide receiver position than the Commanders this season. We've seen Christian Kirk go for 117, Amon-Ra St. Brown go for 116, DeVonta Smith go 169 and CeeDee Lamb go for 97 against them already this season. Feels like it's Mooney's turn (probably).
