4 Minute ReadWill Chase Brown, Chris Olave, Others Find End Zone on Sunday Afternoon in the First Slate of Games?
The early window offers a different setup than a single-game touchdown card, with the ability to target the most attractive scoring roles across the entire 1:00 PM ET slate. All five selections are plus-money, including three tight ends priced at +215 or longer, creating several ways to chase strong payouts without needing one specific game to turn into a shootout.
The positive-EV projections also identify unusually large gaps between the listed prices and expected scoring probabilities, but the numbers are only part of the case. Recent touchdown production, Week 1 usage, offensive roles and individual matchup paths all support taking a shot on this five-player card.

1. Chase Brown Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+125) Check out the best odds at DraftKings Sportsbook
Brown immediately returned to a featured role in Cincinnati's opener, handling 16 carries for 56 yards and a touchdown while adding five receptions. His 21 total touches are the key takeaway for the anytime market because Cincinnati is giving him multiple paths to score rather than using him strictly as an early-down runner.
Houston also enters Week 2 after allowing 36 points to Buffalo, so this is hardly a matchup that requires fading Cincinnati's scoring opportunities. Brown has reached the end zone in five of his last 10 games, while the model gives him a massive 65.86% touchdown probability compared to only 44.44% implied at +125. That produces 48.19% EV and makes plus money particularly attractive for a back already coming off a Week 1 touchdown.
2. Chris Olave Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+210) Check out the best odds at FanDuel Sportsbook
Olave failed to score in Detroit, but almost everything else about his season opener was encouraging. He caught 10 passes for a career-high 182 yards, leading New Orleans' passing game and showing exactly the type of target volume that can eventually turn into touchdown opportunities.
Baltimore's defense looked strong after settling into its Week 1 win over Indianapolis, so this is not purely a matchup play. It is a bet on elite involvement at a substantial price. Olave has scored in five of his last 10 games, and his 47.75% projected touchdown probability is well above the 32.26% implied probability at +210, creating 48.03% EV. A receiver capable of commanding double-digit targets does not need many red-zone opportunities to justify better than 2-to-1 odds.
3. Kyle Pitts Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+380) Check out the best odds at DraftKings Sportsbook
Pitts is easily the most aggressive sprinkle on the card after opening the season without a catch against Pittsburgh. The price has reacted accordingly, pushing him all the way to +380, but one quiet game should not completely erase a 2025 season in which Pitts produced career highs with 88 catches, 928 yards and five touchdowns.
The matchup creates a much different environment from Week 1. Carolina just allowed Chicago to score 59 points, while Atlanta returns home after managing only 13 in Pittsburgh. This is a logical bounce-back spot for the Falcons offense, and Pitts' 6-foot-6 frame still gives him obvious usefulness when Atlanta gets close to the goal line.
There is plenty of volatility here, especially with Pitts scoring in only two of his last 10 games. That risk is already reflected in the number. The model assigns him a 37.01% chance to score compared to just 20.83% implied at +380, producing a slate-high 77.65% EV. He does not need to suddenly become Atlanta's leading receiver for the bet to work. One red-zone target can justify taking the long price.
4. Dallas Goedert Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+215) Check out the best odds at DraftKings Sportsbook
Goedert might have the strongest combination of current scoring form and price on the entire card. He opened 2026 with four catches for 77 yards and two touchdowns against Washington, accounting for two of Jalen Hurts' three passing scores in Philadelphia's 24-22 victory.
That performance also continued a major touchdown surge from last season. Goedert finished 2025 with 11 receiving touchdowns and has now scored in five consecutive games dating back to December. Tennessee allowed the Jets to control Week 1 with 367 total yards and nearly 39 minutes of possession, giving Philadelphia a favorable setup to create repeated scoring opportunities.
Getting +215 on a tight end this involved near the goal line is difficult to ignore. The model puts Goedert's scoring probability at 49.37%, essentially a coin flip, compared to just 31.75% implied by the odds. That enormous difference creates 55.52% EV while providing a much better payout than his recent touchdown production would suggest.
5. Tucker Kraft Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+220) Check out the best odds at Fanatics Sportsbook
Kraft did not score in Green Bay's opener, but his return from ACL surgery was encouraging. He caught three passes for 65 yards, averaging 21.7 yards per reception, and immediately showed that the Packers were comfortable putting him back into a meaningful offensive role.
The touchdown history is much stronger than the Week 1 result. Kraft scored six times in only eight games last season and has reached the end zone in five of his last 10 appearances overall. Green Bay also spent the offseason preparing him to return without a major pitch count, so the opportunity should remain there rather than being limited by his recovery.
At +220, the implied probability is only 31.25%, while the projection gives Kraft a 43.97% chance of scoring for 40.7% EV. The Jets held Tennessee to 10 points in Week 1, so this is not the easiest defensive matchup on the board, but Kraft's established red-zone production and immediate involvement make the price worth attacking rather than paying shorter odds on a more obvious Green Bay scorer.
