75 percent of bets today have gone on Haye as he looks to avenge March’s defeat
David Haye’s long anticipated rematch with Tony Bellew was confirmed today and already a flurry of bets have been placed on the fight.
It all comes to a head again on December 17th at the O2 and Haye is the clear favourite to get revenge against The Bomber, who stopped him late on in their first injury-affected bout.
The Hayemaker is 4/11 to get the job done, with Bellew the 5/2 outsider. Although the majority of bettors’ money was on Bellew before the fight, it seems that opinion has started to turn since the announcement.
75% of bets placed today have gone on Haye, with punters perhaps wary that the Londoners price can shorten further in the build up to the fight.
Bellew loves being the underdog though and is sure to wind up his opponent in the war of words that will be heading our way for the next 3 months.
